I am thankful to the Director of the School of Automobile, Mechanical and Mechatronics, Mr.

I am also thankful to the company Siemens India Limited for providing me exposure to the
training of Industrial Scada & PLCs System. It is my duty to record my sincere thanks and
gratitude towards the Companys Training Cell staff who helped me in bringing this training to
its present form.
Then I would like to thank the faculty members at the Manipal University Jaipur, Mr. Hemant
Kumar and Mr. Nikhil Srivsas for their sole devotion in mentoring us. The valuable guidance and
interest taken by them has been a motivator.

ABSTRACT
An industrial PLC and SCADA system is to for the development of automatic control of
machinery.PLC and SCADA system are methods to achieve Automation. Automation industry
has fast growth potentialin a country like India, which has a large industry base.This report
focuses on brief concepts of PLC and SCADA system, their development, and also
mentionspossible applications of these systems.Almost every industry that has some electrical
machinery may need Automation Services.
troubleshooting and Hardware activity :
Commissioning, configuration and assemblies of PLCs:
S7-300
S7-1200
Project :
Designed and Developed a SCADA application based on a paint mixing plant interfaced with s7300 PLC.
Commercial work :
Maintaining Logistics and inventory with the help of TCM software and a online documentation
over html format.
SURVEY:
Created a spreadsheet based on a survey of major automation trends in the various industries
across India.
