    The principal of Leandro G. Japos National High School wrote to the principal of Manuel B. Guinez National High School to request a one-year study leave. He had been accepted into a graduate scholarship program at Bukidnon State University for school administrators and teachers starting in April 2016. The one-year master's program would require him to be away from his current position until March 2017. He assured he would still fulfill his responsibilities as a scholar while away and hoped for a positive response to his request.

    Dear Madam,
    The Bukidnon State University informed me last Tuesday that I am one of the
    successful candidate for a graduate scholarship grants for School
    Administrator and Classroom Teachers in Mindanao. Enrollment for SY 20162017 summer term will be this coming April 2016 and I have been admitted.
    Anent to this I would like to ask permission for a study leave in order to
    attend my masteral program for my professional upgrade. I am expected to
    resume on the 31st of March 2017 since it is a one year program. I intend to
    travel on the 4th of April 2016 and will be away for one year.
    I assure you that I would do my responsibilities as a scholar while I am away
    from my station.
    I am hoping for your utmost consideration and positive response.
