As the company moves forward there are a number of key aspects of this in your position as Driller. Your role
allows a degree of autonomy with a high level of responsibility reporting directly to the Workshop/Project
Managers and Directors. To ensure you successfully complete your role it is vitally important you work well with
the owners, administration, all team members within the company, and clients, for a cohesive and profitable
operation.
As a Driller you are fully responsible for:
Your own time management/activity
The drilling activities for Cardross Mining Pty Ltd following the QSE policies, procedures and legal
requirements of certain acts
Downtime and machinery utilisation
Provide positive motivation to all fellow team members to ensure an ongoing positive work environment
at all times
That all Cardross Mining Pty Ltd vehicles, machines, equipment and are clean and you convey a
professional appearance and attitude at ALL times

To strictly comply with all company Quality, Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures.
Complete all safety requirements prestart, take 5, work permits / assessments, erect barricades bunding
& signs

Conditions of Employment
the employee must undertake any medical examinations required for the position at the cost of the
employee, and will be reimbursed after the 6 month probation has been deemed successful by
management
the employee must undertake a police check before any interviews are held, at the cost of the employee
and will be reimbursed after the 6 month probation period has been deemed successful by management
the employee must pass the Cardross Mining Induction and understand all QSE policies and procedures
the employee must wear all necessary PPE and receive any vaccinations and inoculations to reasonably
protect the employee from workplace hazards
the employee must at all times work safely and with consideration for others in the workplace
the employee must maintain confidentiality of information to protect Cardross Mining's interests and sign
a deed of confidentiality
the employee shall work specific roster cycles as outlined in the letter of appointment, that has been
agreed upon by both parties and is in line with the Cardross Mining Employee Collective Agreement 2009
as a condition of acceptance, the appointee MUST disclose pre-existing illnesses or injuries prior to
employment; failure to do this may remove the appointee's entitlement to any future Workcover
compensation
