Lottie Moon Offering

December is the time we emphasize International Missions
and collect the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Our church
goal is $12,000.
This week, please pray especially for the following Southern
Baptist Missionaries serving around the world: Bethany
Amber in Johannesburg, South Africa and Layla Murphy in
Southeast Asia.
Offering Envelopes
The 2017 offering envelopes are available in the Education
Building. If you do not see your box, please let us know. It is
easy to overlook names when looking through hundreds of
names and being interrupted numerous times.

Christmas Programs
Chancel Choir - Sunday, Dec. 18th during the evening service.
Saints Alive Choir
The Saints Alive Choir sang Christmas carols and played bells
for the Willow Ridge and Bainbridge Healthcare residents on
Monday, Dec.12th. The residents enjoyed the entertainment and
visits from our members. We had our annual Christmas party at
11:30, decorated by Joy Burrell. Thank you, Joy! After our
delicious covered dish luncheon (nobody cooks like south
Georgians) we had great fun exchanging white elephant gifts.
More fun times are in store this year! We will meet at Memorial
Manor in the back section at 9:50 on Monday, Dec. 19th, to sing
and play bells for the patients at Memorial Manor and then
proceed to Riverside. In His Name - the Greatest Gift of All,
Myra

Stacey

This past Sunday was a great day! We are so very

close to meeting our Lottie Moon offering goal.
It was a joy for my family and I to give to this
offering during the ingathering. There is still time
to give and help us surpass our goal of $12,000.
Sunday night was also a blessing as our children
shared through song and drama the Power of the
King! The kids and adult leaders did a great job!
Monday, December 19th our students will be
ringing the bell for the Salvation Army at Winn
Dixie from 9am-7pm. If you are out, stop by and
see them and throw some change in their bucket
and help the Salvation Army!
Also, next Wednesday night, December 21st we
will meet at 5:00 and go caroling and then have a
time of fellowship at Uncle Bills. Looking
forward to celebrating Christmas with my favorite
church family.

Blessings,
Jeff
