Class Activities
Pre Teaching (10 minutes)

Greet the students condition

Answering the lecturers question about kinds of greeting, how to ask clients condition,

and the way to do self introduction to client(to arouse students interest)


Whilst Teaching (100 minutes)

Learning kinds of greeting, how to ask clients condition, and the way to do self introduction
to client
Listening the way of native speakers in greeting and doing self introduction to

someone by listening to the audio


Imitating native speakers pronunciation and intonation in greeting and giving

personal information to someone by listening to the audio.


Making a group consists of 5 students. Devide all students into 10 groups.
Practicing how to greet, how to do self introduction and how to give personal information
individually to the students group.
Asking and answering about personal information then filling the column. The column
consists of the students personal information.
Pointing one student / volunteer from each group to practice how to greet, do self
introduction and give personal information in front of the class.
Giving questions to the volunteer about personal information
Answering the students question about personal information
Post Teaching (10 minutes)

Reviewing the lesson

Asking the difficulties in the lesson learned

Identifying how to do self introduction and give personal information in the context of

daily life especially to the client


Method: Lecture, listening, ask and answer, discussion, practice, role play.
Assessment

Technique: Speaking

Instrument:

Students are expected to express greeting and practice self introduction individually.

Students are expected to do ask and answer about personal information.

Grade: The students who can practice self introduction well and speak English fluently,

give question about personal information to the performer, and answer the questions from
another student, will get a good score. It will be shown below:
A = excellent (85-100)
B = very good (70-84)
C = good (60-69)
D = not good (<60)
