1. Comment on the following statement. Dont forget to use the

Democracy is the worst form of government but for all

the others
Voter Irrationality
Voters are highly uninformed about many political issues, especially
relating to economics, and have a strong bias about the few issues on
which they are fairly knowledgeable.
Political Instability
Democracy is criticised for not offering enough political stability. As
governments are frequently elected on and off there tends to be frequent
changes in the policies of democratic countries both domestically and
internationally.
Mob rule
A majority is too irrational to make decisions for the entire populace.

2. Express your own views and ideas on the following forms of

government. If you were to choose one of them for your own
country, which one would you go for? Why?
Anarchism. A social state in which there is no governing person or group
of persons, but each individual has absolute liberty (without the
implication of disorder).

Absolute monarchy is a monarchical form of government where the

king or queen has absolute power over all aspects of their subjects' lives.

In an absolute monarchy there is no constitution or legal restriction on the

monarch's power.

Oligarchy is a form of government where political power effectively

rests with a small elite segment of society distinguished by royalty, wealth,
family, military powers or occult spiritual hegemony. Such states are often
controlled by politically powerful families whose children are heavily
conditioned and mentored to be heirs of the power of the oligarchy.

Tribal. A tribe consists of a social group existing before the development

of, or outside of, states. Some theorists hold that tribes represent a stage
in social evolution intermediate between bands and states.

Meritocracy is a system of a government or another organization

wherein appointments are made and responsibilities are given based on
demonstrated talent and ability (merit. In a meritocracy, society rewards
(by wealth, position, and social status) those who demonstrated talent
and competence, demonstrated through past actions or by competition.

Chaos. Do as you please.

Cronyism is partiality to long-standing friends, especially by appointing
them to positions of authority, regardless of their qualifications

Demarchy is a hypothetical political system run by randomly selected

decision makers who have been selected by sortition. Demarchy attempts
to achieve democratic representation without needing electionsit has
been referred to as "democracy without elections."
