CHRISTMAS NEWS

And to our new Verbum Dei

sisters:
Sister Emiliana, Sister
Catherine and Sister Devy

The main events of 2016

Parish of St. John Vianney
West Green
Dear Parishioners
I would like to wish you and all your families every joy and blessing
during this Season of Christmas and in the year ahead, 2017.
As we look back over 2016 there is much to be thankful for. We should
not let the sad occasions dominate over the many blessings and joys that
we can celebrate.
The Year of Mercy has been an opportunity to praise God for his love,
compassion and mercy to us all. The challenge still continues. We need to
show love and reconciliation in our world to our brothers and sisters, there
is a lot of hate and violence in so many different situations. We, as
followers of Jesus, must show the Love of God in the midst of anger and
hate.
We look forward to 2017 with hope and trust in God's goodness. We
will have our own celebrations to mark the 90th Anniversary of the
foundation of our Parish. Hence the Golden-Ruby Anniversary.
God bless you all.
Thanks to Barbara for this publication.
Thanks to all parishioners who are over so supportive and generous in
so many ways.
Repeated blessing for this Holy Season.
Fr. Joe, Fr Damian, Sr Devy and Germaine

We wish everyone a Happy Christmas

and peace and blessings in the year ahead.
