The UCS Mini 5108 chassis can support up to 4 power supplies. They can be either AC or DC, but you must not mix the two
types in the same chassis. For DC power Cisco uses a 48VDC PSU, and for AC they support between 100-240v.
For 120 volt AC based chassis configs there are some restrictions on the number of supported blades. Below is a chart
that shows different PSU configurations and the number of blades supported in that configuration. Both DC and 200240v power supplies do not have these restrictions.

There is only one cooling fan option for the


UCS Mini, and each 5108 chassis will require
8 cooling fans each.
UCS Systems also require a large amount of
air to move through the chassis, Cisco
recommends leaving plenty of room in front
and behind the rack so that
proper ventilation is possible.
A fully loaded UCS Mini can create as much
as 13,000 BTU/hr if fully populated with
B200 blades.
The recommended operating temperature is
50-95 degrees Fahrenheit with no more then
90% humidity.
