CO.CODE. Execute the enquiry and analyze the output.
You are now seeing the enquiry output. The account ids shown here belong to the
company into which the user has logged into. All the account records belong to the
GB0010001 company. The listed ids follows a certain pattern as shown in the output.
This task teaches you to view records of other LEAD companies using the enquiry

In a MULTI-COMPANY environment the user wants to view all the account records of
different LEAD companies. To do this you will make use of the COMP.FOR.ENQ field
in your enquiry. Open the existing enquiry record. When the user executes the enquiry
, the enquiry should retrieve records from all the different LEAD companies. To do so
you need to make modification to the filed COMP.FOR.ENQ.
COMP.FOR.ENQ COMP.FOR.ENQ is a multi-value field.
By default it is set to null, meaning the enquiry fetches records from the currently
logged in company.
When the field COMP.FOR.ENQ is set to ALL.COMPANY your enquiry processes
records from all the LEAD companies.
Authorise the enquiry record and launch to view the output.
Here is the enquiry output and the id pattern varies from one record to another. If you
see the account record ids, at the end of each id you can see the company
MNEMONIC appended to it. EU1 is the MNEMONIC for the of EU0010001
company(LEAD company of Germany). SG1 for the company SG0010001 (LEAD
company of Singapore) and BNK if it exists will be from the MNEMONIC GB0010001.

This section of learning unit teaches you the functionality of the COMPANY.SELECT
field in the enquiry.
1. Create an enquiry based on the account application with the given fields - @ID,
WORKING.BALANCE, ACCOUNT.TITLE.1 and CO.CODE
2. Using the enquiry the user should be able to fetch records of the LEAD company
and its OWN branches

Create the enquiry with the specified fields. Using the enquiry the user should fetch
records of the LEAD company and its own branches. To do this you will learn about
the field COMPANY.SELECT in the enquiry.
The COMPANY.SELECT field provides options to restrict the access of data in a multibook setup. In a multi-book setup the financial level data is stored in the same
database table for all companies. By default the field COMPANY.SELECT is set to
NULL , meaning the user can view only records of the company into which he has
logged into.
In a multi-book set up, to view records of the LEAD and its own branches the field
COMPANY.SELECT is set to ALL.
After you specify all the above stated values authorise the enquiry.

Now try to launch the enquiry from the LEAD company. The enquiry output will retrieve
