The Behringer rear panel does nothave much {ree room so adding these to the left side of the Behringer when viewed from the frontis one option. ‘The S/PDIF board fits well tothe left of the main processing board in the Behringer. Use several layers of 3m double sided extra strength foam tape to mount the board. 3 or 4 layers of tape should be plenty to make sure there are no shorts, between the board and the chassis DACs used AKMAK4393, The relevant pins on the AK4393 Pin 3 = Master Clock Pin 5 = BitClock Pin 6 = Serial Data Pin 7 = LIR Clock For those three connections above you only need to make the connection from any one of the three DACs to the 3x S/PDIF ‘output board, Any location on the board that has continuity o those pins on the DACs is fine to tap into, Pin 6 on each DAC is the serial data pin. Take pin 6 of one dac and connectitto INSD1 on the output board. Pin 6 of the second dac goes to INSD2 on the output board. Pin 6 of the third DAC goes to INSD3 on the output board, There are three surface mount resistors near the DACs (R3, R4, RS) which are good tie in points for the serial data for each DAC as shown in the picture below, Lastly ground and power need to be connected to the transceiver board. ‘Then the 3x S/PDIF outputs need to be wired into the board hiepshwnswitch-boxcoms_ pal installation entries!2007112% pehringer_de12496 Install. Any point that has continuity with the appropriate DAC pin is suitable to use. In the picture atthe top of the page the black wire is ground and the white wire all the wayto the leftis +5vDC. NOTE: The Behringer uns all processing at 96/24 so the S/PDIF outputs will likewise always output 96/24 hiepshwnswitch-boxcoms_ pal installation entries!2007112% pehringer_de12496 Install. Nr 22
