c) Resistance:
i) Calculate the Total resistance on the network and fill in the table
below
ii) Measure the total resistance of the network using your ohmmeter
disconnecting the power supply
iii) Calculate the percent difference of the resistance using the
following formula: % = (Calculated Measured)/Calculated x 100
d) Voltage
i) Calculate the voltage drop across each resistance and record the
value on the table below
ii) Apply power to your circuit
iii) Measure the voltage drop across each resistor and record the
values on the table below
iv) Calculate the percent difference using the formula above
e) Current
i) Calculate the total current in the circuit
ii) Draw the connections for current measurement in the circuit on the
previous page**Review Lab 1 for directions on how to do this!!!
iii) With your power supply OFF, wire the multimeter into the circuit to

i) In a series circuit, if the IR voltage drop is measured to be the
same across two resistors, what can be said about these two
resistors?
iii) Using the current and voltage drop measurements, calculate the
values of each resistor. Test each resistor with the multimeter and
discuss the differences between the measurements.
