ABSTRACT

The present research aims, through the knowledge of information design,


stimulate the adherence to proper treatment medicines, arousing the interest
and understanding in the reading of medicine leaflets. Using the methodology of
qualitative exploratory study, to the extent that conduct a research about the
quality of the design of leaflets of medicinal product, which interferes with and
influence on the success of its use on the part of users. Still, it has an applied
nature, because it uses a case study of the package leaflet of the medicinal
product HUMULIN N - human Insulin, to develop the design following the
methodology MD3E (Method of Unfolding in 3 Steps), Flavio Anthero Nunes
dos Santos, however, propose a new visual presentation of its elements, in that
was applied all concepts studied. It is considered that the present work has
solved the problem proposed, because all of the objectives were achieved and
the final result is consistent with the original proposal. It is stated that the project
can be applied in real life situations, where the manufacturers of drugs could
analyze the knowledge of this research and provide consumers with access to
information easier and understandable, stimulating the accession to the correct
treatment of the drug. And can still serve as a reference for a change in national
settlement on the medicine leaflets.
