Weight loss: Biasedness, Myelin Sheath & POV(Point of View) :

This is divided in 2 parts, an anecdotal story & they its analogy.


Story:
If Robert is trying to lose 40 pounds & he tries some kind of diet or exercise
program. He is not able to lose his weight with his chosen program.
Though he knows that he was not committed to do what that program required
him to do. He was not ready to give up on his food habits, lifestyle etc. He has
not followed the regime required.
One more important thing, as you know, Robert had spread the word among his
friends that he was trying THE WEIGTLOSS PROGRAM.
After 45-60 days, there was no result visible.
Charlie & Stacy asked him that has he lost some weight?
Instead of finding where he might have gone wrong, he will think & create
biasness that something dont work. After listening to his experience or POV,
Charlie & Rudy will spread the similar news of how this particular diet dont work
& made Roberts POV as theirs.
Hence it can create a ripple effects based totally on biasedness & make view
limited, corrupted & blurred.
While something bigger happened in other corner. Natalie became discussion
topic. She has lost over 60 pounds.
Charlie & Stacy, went to Natalie and asked her that what did she do to loose so
much weight in 90 days. The answer stunned them, it was THE WIGHTLOSS
PROGRAM.
They were not able to believe their ears, that this stuff works. So in this chaos,
they asked Natalie for specifications, details & what to be taken care.
They practice the similar activities & they were able to lose 5 pounds in very
short time. It changed their whole POV about what they have created biased
about.
You may think now what would have happened to Robert
Analogy :
Most of the time we are biased to the thought we have in mind, pre conceived
notion we have created over period of time, borrowed knowledge from somebody
else.
At times we ignore without even knowing, we shut our senses if anything
questions our belief system or take us out of comfort zone. We are very smart to
filter out things that does not support your POV (point of view).
Myeline Sheat
Myelin is a fatty white substance that surrounds the axon of some nerve cells,
forming an electrically insulating layer.
Lets come to its functionality. It basically insulates you to do any particular skill.
You see yourself or somebody else excelling in anything. It may be a sport, excel,
driving, chatting, finding radical ideas, public speaking, solving tough math
problems, building complex models, designing any particular thing, knowledge
on politics, people, psychology etc.
The reason you or somebody contain that thing is that you have covered your

nerve endings axons with myelin, which help you to develop reflex, expertise in
things. If you stop practicing particular skill than you can easily miss the progress
you have made over a period of time.
Great thing is Myelin can be developed with right kind of practice, motion &
movements. It just requires you to form a habit, find where you are being wrong,
rectify yourself on those things & see results. Hence it can literally change the
point of view you hold.
POV :
Point of views are very limited based on life you already know. Results you have
received over a period of time. They are more related to borrowed larger truths
which you attain over a period of time due to society, people, entertainment or
community you are attached to.
Hence right way to change is to not for Natalie to come you and explain why for
something you created biasedness. Instead being Robert you must asked:
Was I honest in what I tried?
Is there anything I am missing?
Is there any other way to do the same?
Is there somebody who have already did this & I can model his/her success?
How I could have failed?
Why It have not worked?
Is time taken & goal set was legit?
I am not saying that you must have the scarcity thinking that why you are wrong.
There are people whom have posted things just for fun, create viral content or
provide a quick fix for anything.
Loosing weight is just an analogy to look at phenomenon how we look, see,
perceive & reflect upon things, thoughts, people, knowledge & most important
POV.
Your POV is very important because it defines how you do things & give meaning
to your experience.
For you biggest troubles or things where you are not able to take any decision,
Ask Yourself ,
Am I biased?
Have I worked on Myelin around this kind of problems?
Is there anybody to whom I can go, ask & change my POV?

Mental Loop, Journal & Nike Hyper adapt 1.0


STORY:
Samantha is working in an MNC at Project Manager level. Once she was star in all
the projects /work she took. She took them to a different level altogether,
created revenue lines for the organisation. But from last 6 months she became
underperformer. She was not able to figure out what is going wrong. Her
manager gas told us if her performance does not improve in next 90 days, she
can look for options outside the organisation.
What made her not performing that She has not been happy. She is feeling
bounded, restricted & stuck. She started talking whats not right with the place
or organisation. (Underlying thing is nothing has changed except her
perspective). She has magnified set of negative belief, she started negative
people, unhappy people with similar stories, experiences & views.
Then one day, she met her old manager Mr Paul, He was wearing The Nike

she has ever worked with. She shared all her experiences, concerns & asked for
advice from Paul. Though parallel she was thinking how did he got hands on
those pairs?
Then Paul, gave her a hand crafted Journal with some instructions. Then asked
her to carry it everywhere continue those things for next 21 days without fail.
Pauls journal has asked Samantha to do simple things as rituals.
There were 5 actionable which she need to do every day without fail
1. Jot down all your anxieties, worries, problem for 2 pages
2. Write your 3 life projects which you want to achieve in next 6 months. 2
times every day in morning & before sleep. (it should have a quantifiable
goal, timeline & outcome how it will look like)
3. Write an inspiring quote, gratitude moment for the day & when you
laughed in day
4. Write 3 things you can do immediately to thrive in your job
5. Habit 3 habits you need to build
Samantha started doing the tasks & things written in the journal with instruction.
Meanwhile she dropped a mail to Paul about asking how did he got those

After following Pauls advice she is now among the most valuable resources & is
under the training of future leader for the organisation. This was the most

with time, intensity of thoughts, emotional attachment, experience & practicing.
Its like the sound track which just kept on playing on pause mode of your mind.
All the results in life are just response to the loops you have created in your
mind.
Samantha encountered the same, as initially she has changed her view due to
some not required experiences at her. She has magnified & multiplied all that
was happening to her with 50X zoom lens. Apart from this, mental loop decides

your actions towards specific people, colleague or other. It gives you automatic
response for particular incident etc.
You can easily see if somebody get hyper on particular thing is said or if enters
into such situations.

White piece of paper along with a pencil is the greatest focus tool in entire
universe. It gives you immense possibility to do things, explore solutions, find
peace, build fortune or next breakthrough idea.
How Pauls journal helped Samantha:

Jotting down all worries, anxieties, negativity sets you free for whole day.

bizarre thoughts you were holding for yourself, people & world.

frequency of being. Quantum physics play a crucial role here. You attract
what you vibrate. Hence practicing the right frequency is very critical
Doing 3 immediate things to thrive in workplace, pushes you to come up
with radical ideas. You build muscle to act on things on your own, try new
things, create network or find solution to somebody elses problem
We are creature of habits. Discipline towards it makes it possible. As
Einstein said, Compound Interest is most underrated & least understood
arithmetic principle. So habits, they take you toward your destined goals.
We are literally by product of habits. Look around you & you can see & tell.
It is said it takes 68 days to create a habit. It needs patience &
perseverance altogether.

Hence journal can create huge impact on your operating system. It can help you
to upgrade it & make is superfast.
