Labeling system
Definition: A labeling system is a structure template.
Common labeling systems are defined in COMOS and preset, for example,
by labeling according to:
EN Standard
ANSI
KKS (7 or 9 levels)
General two-stage system (electrical engineering).

Introduction
This tutorial intends to convey the creation of a two-stage unit and location structure in
COMOS.
You will
Modify the Navigator settings, so that the displayed objects are sorted by name in each
tab.
NOTE:
Be sure to read all of the information and notes in a chapter and then carry out the tasks
step-by-step.
The steps of the tutorial are built along a sequence, so that (in most cases) you cannot skip
one.
If you need help, use the figures in chapter 3 or talk to the trainer.

In the tab Locations, create a structure with the two locations and one sublocation:
A location: Leave the name as it is. Enter MH for the label, and Machinery hall for the
description
A location: Define and enter a name, so that this location is displayed above the
machinery hall, when the Navigator is sorting by name (as describe in chapter 2.2).
Enter U for the label and Transfer station low voltage for the description
A sublocation (below machinery hall): Leave the name as it is. Enter TR for the label,
