Definition

about something.

Function :

or occasion.

inviting, and to the
point.
3. Clear and
complete
4. For a bad news,
make a direct and
no-nonsense
statement.

2. ADVERSITEMENTS
Definition
Advertisement is a picture and/or set of words used to persuade people
to buy a product or use of service, or that gives information about a job
that is available.

Function :
1. Promotion.
2. Communication.
3. Information.

1. Strategically sound.
2. Have an original
creative concept.
3. Use exactly the
right execution for the
message.

3. GREETING CARDS
Definition
A greeting card is a card, with a picture in front and a message inside,
that you send to someone on their birthday or on a special
occasion/holiday.

Function :
to congratulate someone
achievement, express
sympathy on someones,
and motivate someone on
gaining achievement.
Charateristic :
1. Clarify a clear purpose.
2. Use an appraisal diction.
3. Accurate addressee.

4. SHORT MESSAGES
Definition :
A short message is a written piece of information that you send/leave to
another person.

Function :
To send an important
message to other people,
friend or family.
Charateristic :

3. If it is an instruction state
it clearly.

5. NOTICES
Definition
A notice is a sign or printed statement that gives information or a
warning to people.
Function :

impending evil, possible
harm, or anything else
unfavorable.
2. To urge or advise to be
careful.
3. To admonish or exhort.
4. To give notice to (a

9. SHOPPING LIST
Definition
A shopping list is a list that you make of all the things you want to buy
when you go shopping.

Function :
To make the arrangement of
the items to be purchased.
Characteristic :

be purchased.

10. FOOD LABELS

Definition
A food label can be found on the back of most food products. This label
gives information about the products, and can be useful if one is trying
to eat healthy or one needs to avoid anything one is allergic to.

Function :
To let you know the levels
of nutrients in the food.
Characteristic :
1. Stated levels of food
nutrition.
