The innovative Gecko Nanoplast silicone tape makes use of Van der
Waals forces of attraction, which create an intermolecular electrostatic
attraction effect. The tapes microscopic gripping elements guarantee
high adhesion strength without leaving any residue on smooth, wet or
slippery surfaces. The product is also available in a self-adhesive

Microplast adheres to any "landing zone" such as nonwovens, locked
loop or brushed loop tapes, as well as the textile rear-sheets of adult
nappies. Thanks to its hexagonal geometry, it works perfectly, regardless
of direction, and unlike hook fasteners, it ensures the same peel and
shear force in all directions. Due to its flat heads and thus pleasant feel,
this fastener is very skin-friendly.

medical tests, such as the biological evaluation of medical devices
- Cytotoxicity of eluate pursuant to DIN EN ISO 10993-5, 1999-11,
- Primary Skin Irritations Test pursuant to DIN EN ISO 10993-10
- Haemocompatibility pursuant to ISO 10993-4 (thrombocytes,
haemolysis, coagulation, complement activation)

It is excellent, among other things, for increasing the grip of high-quality
laboratory gloves or for securing tracheal cannula.
Gecko has been tested by one of the most famous European Institutes
in the treatment of burn scars on patients over a period of 18 months.
Compared to treatment with conventional methods, Gecko has the
advantage of exerting both occlusion and compression at the same
time. Moreover, a significant improvement in several clinical and
physical parameters has been noted.
