1) Whats the plot mainly about? Write a few lines about it.
The film portrays the story of Christopher McCandless, a young man
recently graduated from college, athlete and top student, who was born in a
good family, but he never felt part of that world full of materialism, that
world where capitalism shaped the peoples life. He was not happy. Thus,
he donates all his money to a charity, abandoned his car, burned all the
money he had in his pocket , changes of identity and goes in search of a
unique experience. He went to Alaska to live in the wildness.
2) In this story theres someone, or some people , who goes through a
situation in which they need to work on their inner spirit ( their
conscience) or the way he sees life. Tell what happens to this person.
In the story , Christopher undergoes a spiritual rebirth . His first step was
when he decides to radically change your life , because the way he lived
didnt added nothing to him, not brought happiness. Thus , changing his
identity, also changed his personality , way of life . Christopher took the
name Alex Supertramp as your new ID. On his journey to Alaska , Alex
runs several places .His parents tried to locate him and failed , but her sister
received some letters he sent from time to time . All the friends he did
describe the boy ,who was then 24 years as a friendly , intelligent and
booked. He changed the lives of these people and coexistence with them
an instrument of personal improvement . He held firm to his purpose : to
spend a few months in Denali National Park, in Alaska . Alex wanted to
escape from this rotten society , capitalist and corrupt in which we live . In
one scene of the movie , a friend asks him what he would do when he got
there . He said that " we just live ." It is clearly insatisfaction with our
world , and the search for a life experience away from any kind of society.
Upon arriving in Alaska , he found a bus which determined his home. This

bus exists until today . It is known as the Magic Bus 142 . Christopher
learned the hard way that " Happiness is only real when shared " ( final
sentence of the movie ) , when after four long months of living in the
mountains , eating what nature provided , he realized that although he
conquered all dreamed of freedom , conquered also the loneliness left by
that corrupt society .
Two hikers and a group of hunters found a message on the bus door saying
" SOS I need help . I'm crippled , almost dead and too weak to get out of
here . I'm all alone , I'm not kidding . For God's sake , please try to save me
. I'm out there picking berries close by and shall return this evening. Thank
you , Chris McCandless . "

. The relief soon ! In poor health and only fully Christopher eventually died
and his body was found weeks later wrapped in his sleeping bag inside the
bus . The official cause of death would have been starvation , but there are
theories that advocate a accidental poisoning .

3) If you had been on this persons shoes, would have reacted the same
way? Explain your reasons.
Probably react the same way as the character, but I would not last long as
he living alone. Four months is a long time without any contact with human
life, just nature. I think most would react the same way, or lack of courage
would think to react the same way due to the influences of philosophers
that Christopher carried with him until his death. They are Jack London,
Leo Tolstoy and Henry David Thoreau. Read all of these authors for years
influence their decision-making, in its push to change your life.

4) What spiritual lesson could we take from the story of the movie?
Write in a few lines.
