The call went out from the Matrix Contact Center to schedule this
years comprehensive health assessment with the member.
Answering the phone, the member said last years visit from Anne
was a lifesaver. He said he had stopped taking his blood pressure
medication several years before due to side effects and had not
been back to see his primary care provider since.
Anne found his blood pressure to be dangerously high and
explained the risks of untreated hypertension. She then strongly
urged him to seek immediate help. He said he was in the
emergency department for seven hours before they were able to
stabilize his blood pressure. They then started him on blood
pressure medication.
You know, the member said, these girls know their stuff!
