GENERALINTRUCTIONSFORTHECANDIDATES
1.Candidatesshould,inadditiontotheirAdmitCard,bring
twocopiesoftheirlatestcoloredphoto(3cmx3.5cm)
at least one photo identity proof in ORIGINAL with clear photograph (e.g. AADHAR Card,
DrivingLicense,University/CollegeID,VoterIDCard,PANCard,etc)
photocopyofidentityproofmentionedat(b)abovealso.
Ifacandidatefailstobringtheabovedocuments,he/shewouldnotbeadmittedintheexamination
venueandhis/hercandidaturecouldbecancelled.
2.Prohibited items, such as watches, books, pens, paper chits, magazines, electronic gadgets (mobile
phones,bluetoothdevices,headphones,pen/buttonholecameras,scanner,calculator,storagedevicesetc)
areSTRICTLYNOTALLOWEDintheexaminationlab.Ifanysuchitemisfoundinthepossessionofa
candidate in the examination lab, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled and legal/criminal
proceedingscouldbeinitiatedagainsthim/her.He/shewouldalsoliabletobedebarredfromappearingin
futureexaminationsoftheCommissionforaperiodof3years.
3.Candidatesareadvised not to bring the prohibited items mentioned above to theexaminationvenue.In
casetheybringanysuchitem,theywouldhavetomaketheirownarrangementsforsafecustodyofsuch
items.TheCommissionshallnotmakeanyarrangementnorberesponsibleforthesafecustodyofany
suchitem.
4.Pen/pencilandpaperforroughworkwouldbeprovidedintheexaminationroom.Electronicwatch
(timer)willbeavailableonthecomputerscreenallottedtocandidates.
5.AllExamLabsareunderVideoSurveillance.
6.Thecandidatesareadvisedtoavoidtalkingtoothercandidatesorindulginginanyunfairmeans.
7.CANDIDATESMUSTENSURETHATTHEYDONOTAPPEARINCHSL2016,TIERIMORE
THAN ONCE OR ELSE THEY WOULD RUN THE RISK OF THEIR CANDIDATURE NOT
ONLY BEING CANCELLED BUT ALSO OF THEIR BEING DEBARRED FROM FUTURE
EXAMINATIONS OF THE COMMISSION FOR A PERIOD OF THREE YEARS. In case the
candidate has submitted more than one complete application, it is the responsibility of the candidate to
appearattheexaminationonlyagainstthelastacceptedapplication.
8.Candidatureofcandidatesispurelyprovisional.Itisadvisedthatcandidatesshouldsatisfy themselves
thattheyfulfillalltheeligibilityconditions.Ifatanystageitisfoundthatacandidatedoesnotfulfillany
oftheeligibilityconditions,his/hercandidatureshallbecancelled.
9.Candidates shall be permitted to appear in the exam only at the venue as specified in the Admission
Certificate.
10.TheentryoftheCandidatesinsidethevenuewillONLYbeallowed:

between2.45PM3.45PMforthethirdsession.

NoteCandidatesreachingthevenueafterentryclosingtimeshallnotbeallowedtoenterthe
examinationvenue.
11.Candidates shall have to undergo the process of FRISKING and ensure that their BIOMETRIC
REGISTRATIONiscompletedbeforetheyentertheexaminationlab.Candidatesshallnotbeallowedto
leavetheexaminationvenueoncetheirBiometricregistrationiscompleted.
12.CANDIDATES MUST STRICTLY ABIDE BY THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY THE EXAM
FUNCTIONARIES(CENTRESUPERVISOR/INVIGILATOR,ETC).
13.The candidates should ensure that they provide clear Left Thumb Impression (LTI), Certification
StatementintheirrunninghandwritingandsignatureonCommissionscopyofAdmissionCertificate.
14.No candidate is allowed to leave the examination lab before the completion of the examination for any
reason without permission from the exam functionaries. Once a candidate leaves the lab without the
permissionoftheexamfunctionaries,he/sheshallnotbeallowedtoreentertheexaminationlabandshall
bedebarredfromtheexamination.
15.If any candidate is found obstructing the conduct of the examination or creating disturbances at the
examinationvenue,his/hercandidatureshallbesummarilycancelled.Suchcandidateshallalsobeliable
to be debarred from future examinations of the Commission and legal/criminal proceedings could be
initiatedagainsthim/her.

mayhavetowaitpatientlytilltheissueissuitablyaddressedandresolved.Incase,theproblemismajor
and cannot be resolved for any reason, their examination may be rescheduled for which the candidates
wouldbedulyintimated.
18.CandidatesareadvisedtoreporttotheconcernedRegionaloffice/Commission,incasetheynoticeany
irregularityduringconductofexamination.Theidentityofsuchcandidateswillbekeptconfidential.
19.CandidatesareadvisedtofamiliarizethemselveswiththeComputerBasedExaminationwiththehelpof
'PracticeTest'availableonthewebsitesoftheCommissionandtheRegionalOffices.
20.Candidates are advised to see the 'ExamWalkthroughmodule' (Hindi/English) also available on the
websitesoftheCommissionandRegionalOfficestofamiliarizethemselveswiththeexaminationprocess.
21.In case of any doubt or any clarification, the candidates are advised to contact the concerned Regional

22.Candidates are advised to visit the exam venue at least one day in advance so that they can reach the
