Good morning everyone, as we know scientists all over the world are still seeking

for more non-polluted energy sources . One of the most potential is solar energy,
more specifically, photovoltaic solar cells. SLIDE CHANGE AND A FEW WORD ABOUT
PV .Photo comes from photon and voltaic is something related to electricity, so
it means making electricity from light. In short it is solar cells. today I introduce to
you one of the largest solar cells manufacturer in the world- Hanwa Q cells and the
reason why students, after completing university should take their chance to apply
for a position in this company. First I will provide you some information about this
company. Established in 1999, at that time it was just called Q cells. But in 2012, it
became a subsidiary of the Hanwa group- one of the largest business enterprise in
South korea. Therefore now its headquarter is in Korea, however the field of
technology and innovation is in Thalheim Germany. The company appears in more
than 36 countries some of them are very attractive ,like US, Canada in America,
Germany Italy England France in Europe, Australia standing number 4 th in the Social
Progress Index ranking in 2016, in Asia we have Japan, China, and of course Korea.
The reputation of the company is built base on the quality of their product. Q cells
modules are tested under harsh climate conditions. They can survive in such dry
and hot weather in Australia, even the desert sand dust in Saudi Arabia. Well thats
all for introducing this company, we will go to the main purpose of this talk. What
makes a job in Q cells become ideal? SLIDE TO DARK The first reason is the
company has a network in lots of countries. Some students only want to study in
foreign countries and then comeback to work and start their career in their
homeland where they can live close to their family, then a worldwide network is a
key for this. Moreover different countries mean different languages, if students dont
speak German, they can choose Australia or England to apply, if students dont like
humid climate, then choose Canada or France. Also students who loves travelling to
different countries will see this is a chance of their life. Imagine you spend 2 years
in Germany then 2 years in France, next 3 years in United States. Sound wonderful,
isnt it? Next, what this company offers goes beyond my expectation. The manager
appoints a mentor to help new employees to get used to a new environment, as
well as the workloads. The company also offers both in-house and external trainings
to develop the necessary skills. This implies that they fully trust their employees
once they are qualified and have a plan to work with you for a longtime as the
company spends money and time to train your skills, offer as much help as they
can, this makes the job more stable. Talking about the stability of a job, some
people dont think this is an important criterion ,most young people may say: I
want a job with which I can make much money as I could until they get married
and have a family to support, especially when you have children, also you have to
support your parents, who have already retired. Thats when you will start feeling
the fear of being jobless. However stability doesnt mean you will receive a lowsalary. Besides a fixed salary you can earn a flexible portion by achieving certain
goals. I can show you the salary of some positions in 2 developed countries. In
Malaysia, automation engineers earn about 4000 RM about 20 millions VND a
month. A senior project engineer earns about 120 thousand dollars a year in the US.
In Germany sales planning specialists earn around 55k euros a year, directors , in
general earns about at least 90k euros a year to the highest around 140k a year,
depends on their fields. Finally Hanwa Qcells has a very creative working

environment as well as research center. The company is creating the future of

energy therefore different ideas are welcomed, as the company itself is always
seeking for new ways to make PV cells cheaper and thus more competitive. The
research center for professionals is a placed where you can always improve
yourselves everyday . Scientists and engineers here bring innovations into mass
production as quickly as possible to ensure their technologies maintain the top spot
in the PV industry. Also think about the PV industry, you will feel proud of yourselves
and your families will be proud of you when you take part in the process of making
this world cleaner. I will sum up 3 reasons I had talked about with 6 words:
worldwide network, huge offerings and unique enviroment and also a tip for the
interviews, be cheerful and answer straight forward avoid saying anything off the
topic. Before I finish my presentation I would like to show the websites I use as
references. Thank you for listenin1g.
