Rapid storage and abundant and continuous delivery: The large surface area
and the special shape of the heat exchanger coil ensure an extremely rapid and efficient heat exchange, so as to guarantee fast storage and abundant and continuous
delivery of hot water. The extension of the coil to the lower part of the heater more
effectively exploits the entire storage capacity.

High efficiency for low running costs: As well as improving the heat exchange
efficiency of the coil, special attention has been focussed on heat insulation, so as
to eliminate the loss of heat: the insulation is made from very thick polyurethane
foam with a very high thermal inertia, and completely free of CFCs and HCFCs.
Total hygiene for total bacteriological purity: The entire inside surface and the
coil are treated with a cryolite glass finish, making the storage heater absolutely inert
and ensuring total hygiene. To ensure water that is bacteriologically pure, attention
has been paid to a further very important yet often neglected aspect: ensuring the
uniformity of the temperature even in the bottom part of the storage heater, so as
to avoid the formation of a dangerous pocket of thermal stagnation.
Research by the World Health Organisation in fact shows that areas at lower storage
temperatures assist the proliferation of bacteria (including dangerous strains such as
Legionella Pneumophila). The coil in the FERROLI storage heaters has been especially designed with the last turns sloping downwards, so as to prevent stagnation
and comply with the most recent WHO recommendations on water storage.

Long life without corrosion: Every storage heater is protected against corrosion
by the cryolite glass treatment and a magnesium anode, the position and shape of
which have been carefully optimised for long life.

Complete, easy to use and maintain: The positioning of the water fittings and the
accessibility of the components ensure simple installation and maintenance, while the
pleasant design and the elegant finish means the storage heaters will easily fit in to
any environment. Finally, to ensure user-friendly operation, the standard configuration includes an independent control thermostat and an easy-to-read thermometer.
