30 years old man came to have a teeth treatment, there are no pain. His teeth

Step I
1. Hermetic obsturation
Filling root canal with impermeable and tightly or compact and no air on
cavity,doesnt have space in cavity full fill
2. Crown (LO)
Part of protection on tooth especially in crown tooth.

1. Indication :
Caries in pulp
Gangrene
Pulpitis irreversible
Pulp opening because of attrition, abration, and trauma
To make restoration that need retension in root canal
contraindication:

The crown cant be restorated


Vital teeth in pulpitis reversible
Healthy tooth
Tooth with mobility grade 2 when periodontal tissues fall out from the
periodontal, in abses tooth there is a movement
The patient with no cooperative condition like systemic disease

2. Why do restoration after the root canal treatment?


To protect the remaining tooth structure
To repair mastication function

For esthetic function


To prevent repeat infection
For repair the occlusion
3. What kind of post restoration endodontic treathment?
Direk: amalgam, GIC, resin composite
Indirek: inlay, onlay, crown, veneer, jacket crown post , custom made post,
frame crown if the patient need estetic
for anterior toot used composite resin or GIC because the mastication is not
strong
for posterior teeth used amalgam because the mastication was heavy,
composite resin with strength type
4. What like requirement (ideal specification) post root canal treatment?
Fully covering coronal, to protect the recurring infection
Have retension and resistence
Protecting the structure of the teeth
Be able to return the function of the teeth
5. What is basic consideration in determining Restoration for post RCT?
The remaining dental tissues will affect retension and resistention of
the teeth
Function of teeth ( in the arch will affect the load chewable accepted
to)
Location of teeth ( for the esthetic consideration of the teeth)
Morphology and anatomy of root canal
Esthetic
Retension
Resistence for chewing load
Choosing the material filling

1. What the different of clinical crown and anatomical crown? (dzaki,dian)
2. Why we consideration choosing the restoration material?
(ivan,anshori,shela,lovina,muntil)
3. What kind of restoration and material ? the reason why we choose restoration
for anterior tooth and posterior tooth? (hyoga,wisnu,ghozy,bahtiar,rina)
