Watching this image we understand that the female and male stereotypes

are everywhere. Since the beginning of time, and more frequently

nowadays, the children grow-up following the model that is imposed by the
society, the boys dress blue and the girls pink, they play with dolls e search
for an unachievable beauty.
The society created the stereotype that the ballet is only for women, but in
reality, that is nothing but a myth. Ballet is an art form which is available to
everyone, and such myth must be broken, because we should give children
the freedom to choose the activity that they want and desire to practice.
Even if a boy wants to practice ballet, his parents have to accept ir e dont
worry with what the society will think about it. The same should happen with
the girls because we consider that the children have to be perfect and follow
the model created by the society.
So, we should try to change the mentality of the society which thinks that
are activities that are gender related, we should even try to change
everyones mentality in order to accept and understand their children
choices, respecting their own tastes and opinions, because if we dont
respect it and make the children do what they dont want to, when they
grow up theyll become frustrated adults, with low self-esteem and theyll
spend their lives trying to be that perfect person that the society desires
with the price of not being happy.
