INTRODUCTION

CONSIOUSNESS DEFINITION
Consciousness is the ability of a subject to know a self and its environment. The term
comes from the Latin cum scientan, which means with knowledge. This capacity of
knowledge that man shows is also present in the animal world, although, of course, with
less possibilities. Thus, mammals have a sort of differentiated perception of the self, a
primitive scale, especially in life forms with greater capacity for learning and intelligence,
such as cetaceans or carnivores. The particular case of man is different, since this
definition of consciousness allows him to recognize himself as an autonomous being, on
the one hand, but in permanent interaction with other human beings, on the other.

SPYRAL DYNAMICS INTEGRAL

Levels 1 to 4 would be a matter of conventional psychology and the 5 to 8 would all be
psychic, paranormal, mystical, etc.

In Western culture, the left hemisphere predominates on the right, so we would

inevitably be returned in those circuits. Thus, the model agrees with the following
statement, shared by many personal development experts: our right brain is being
wasted; It only works at a very low level (building images, etc ...) as supporting a leftleaning and self-deprecated hemisphere.

The circuits would be activated successively as the individual developed. Later we will
see that the first four circuits correspond to the development of a human being from
infancy to adulthood. The following circuits would be reserved for the later evolution of
the species. The author's perspective is teleological: there is a final purpose towards
which we are heading and for which, somehow, we are prepared.

1. BEIGE ( SURVIVAL LEVEL)

This is the level of basic survival, a level in which food, water, heat, sex and safety are
priorities and survival depends on habits and instincts. As soon as I exist, differentiated
and the perpetuation of life requires grouping into hordes of survival.
It is present in early human societies, newborns, the elderly, the last stages of
Alzheimer's disease, the madmen who roam the streets and the hungry masses.
Approximate percentage of the adult population in this level: 0.1%.

2.

PURPLE (MAGICAL-ANIMALISTIC)

It is determined by animistic thinking and by an extreme polarization between good and

evil. The magical spirits populate the earth and they must be subordinated by appealing
to all kinds of blessings, curses and spells. It is grouped in ethnic tribes. The spirit dwells
in the ancestors and is the one that unites the tribe. Political ties are determined by
kinship and lineage. It seems "holistic" but, in fact, it is atomistic (every bend in the river
has its name but the river has no name).
It is present in the voodoo curse, the blood oaths, the rancor, the enchantments, the
familiar rituals, the beliefs and the magical superstitions of the ethnicity. Strongly
implanted in Third World settlements, bands, sports teams and tribes.
10% of the population.

3. RED (GODS OF POWER)

Beginning of the emergence of a self alien to the tribe; Powerful, impulsive, egocentric
and heroic. Mythical spirits, dragons, beasts and powerful people. The feudal lords
protect their subordinates in exchange for obedience and work. Foundation of feudal
empires (power and glory). The world presents itself as a jungle full of threats and all
kinds of predators. Dominant and dominated. The self campaigns at its best without any
restrictions.

He is present in the causeless rebel, the border mentality, the feudal realms, the epic
heroes, the band leaders, the villains of James Bond films, mercenaries, rock stars,
Attila, king of the Huns And The Lord of the Flies.
20% of the population.

4. BLUE (MYTHICAL ORDER)

Life has a sense, a direction, an objective and an order imposed by an all-powerful
Other. This order imposes a code of conduct based on absolutist and fixed principles
about what is "right" and what is "wrong." Compliance with that code and these rules is
rewarded, while its violation, on the other hand, has very serious and lasting
repercussions. Foundations of ancient nations. Rigid and paternalistic social hierarchies,
there is only one right way of thinking. Law and order, control of impulsiveness through
guilt, literary and fundamentalist beliefs and obedience to a law imposed by a strongly
conventional and conformist Other. It often assumes a "religious" or "mythical" aspect [in
the mythical-belonging sense, which is why Graves and Beck refer to it as a "holy /
absolutist" level), although it may also assume the aspect of an Order or Of a secular or
atheist mission.
He is present in Puritan America, in Confucian China and in Dickens' England, in the
codes of honor of chivalry, in good and charitable works, in Islamic fundamentalism, in
the "good works" of scouts, In the patriotism of the "moral majority".
40% of the population.

5. ORANGE (SCIENTIFIC ACHIEVEMENT)

In this wave, the ego "escapes" the "blue mentality of the flock" and seeks truth and
meaning in individual terms. It is a hypothetical-deductive, experimental, objective,
mechanical and operational level (or, what is the same, scientific). The world presents
itself as a well-oiled rational machinery that works by following natural laws that can be
learned, mastered and manipulated for its own benefit. Very goal oriented and especially
(in the United States) towards material benefit. The laws of science govern politics,
economics and human affairs. The world presents itself as a kind of chessboard in which
the winners stand out. Commercial alliances and exploitation of the resources of the
Earth for their own benefit. Foundations of State Societies.
It is present in the Enlightenment, The Atlas Rebellion (Ayn Rand's novel), Wall Street,
the French Riviera, the emerging middle class of the world, the fashion and cosmetics

industry, the quest for triumph, Colonialism, the cold war, materialism and self-centered
liberalism.

6. GREEN (THE SENSITIVE SELF)

Focusing on the community, on the relationship between human beings, on networks
and on ecological sensitivity. The human spirit must be freed from greed, from dogma
and from division; Respect and attention to others replaces cold reason; Respect and
care for the earth, Gaia and life. It establishes links and side unions and is contrary to
hierarchies. I permeable and relational-centric networks. Emphasis on dialogue and
relationships. Basis of value communities (freely chosen groups based on shared
feelings). Decision-making based on conciliation and consensus (disadvantage:
"endless" delay of the decision-making process). Pay attention to spirituality, harmony
and enrichment of human potential. Strongly egalitarian, anti-hierarchical, centered in
plural values, in the social construction of reality, in diversity, multiculturalism and the
relativization of values, a worldview that is commonly known as pluralistic relativism.
Subjective and focused on non-linear thinking; Fosters cordiality, sensitivity, respect and
care for the Earth and all its inhabitants.
It is present in deep ecology, postmodernism, Dutch idealism, Rogers' counseling, care
for Canadian health, humanistic psychology, liberation theology, the World Council of
Churches, Greenpeace, the rights of Animals, ecofeminism, postcolonialism, Foucault /
Derrida, the politically correct, movements for diversity, human rights and
ecopsychology.
10% of the population.

7. YELLOW (INTEGRATOR)
Life is presented as a kaleidoscope of hierarchies, systems and natural forms whose
main priority revolves around flexibility, spontaneity and functionality. Differences and
pluralities can naturally be integrated into interdependent currents. Egalitarianism can be
supplemented, where necessary, with natural degrees of order and excellence, whereby
rank, power, status and dependence of the group are replaced by knowledge and
suitability. The prevailing world order is the result of the existence of different levels of
reality (memes) and of the inexorable patterns of movement of ascent and descent in the
dynamic spiral. Adequate governance facilitates the emergence of entities belonging to
increasing levels of complexity (nested hierarchy).

8. TURQUOISE (HOLISTIC)
Universal Holistic System. Holons / waves of integrative energies; Integrates the feeling
and the knowledge; Multiple levels intertwined in a conscious system. "Conscious and
living universal order that is not based on external rules (blue) or on group bonds
(green). Both theoretically and practically, a "great unification" is possible, a Theory of
the Whole. There are times when it triggers the emergence of a new spirituality that
encompasses the totality of existence. Turquoise thinking uses all levels of the spiral,
notices the interaction between multiple levels and detects the harmonics, mystical
forces and flow states that permeate any organization.
1% of the population, 1% of the power.

HOW CAN I USE IT?

IDENTIFY THE EPICENTER

At first it may be a bit confusing to locate at what level your center is and surely during
your life you have been through some or some of them, but it is important that you be
brutally honest about your current state, otherwise you will continue to operate
unconsciously and The result will be the same.

MEET YOUR TEAM.

Since you have located your current status, spend time getting to know your team, take
advantage of this information to improve or build the relationship and encourage
teamwork.

WORK ON YOU.
The change will never be in the other person, if you are green consciousness and your
team ignores you, the problem is not in them, you need to work on the red level, the best
thing you can do is start integrating the different states to The growth of your project or
business.

CONCLUSION

Understanding and taking advantage of this information will be the key in the integration
of your team, no level is good or bad; For example, there are now many people who
want to change the world, have ideas to improve the environment, but they stay in ideas
because they lack orange or red awareness to enable them to act.
If we understand this information can improve many things, not only leadership, or team
management but also labor productivity.
