Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah SWT, the Lord of The World, who blessed the
writer in finishing the paper entitled The Readability of Reading Texts in English
Textbook Bahasa Inggris for the Eleventh grade of SMAN 81 Jakarta in
2016/2017 Academic year. Peace and blessing be upon to the Prophet Muhammad
SAW, his family, his relatives, and his followers.
This paper is submitted as a partial fulfillment of the requirements for the
Degree of Sarjana Pendidikan of The Study of Program of English Education, the
School of Teacher Training and Education of the University of Muhammadiyah Prof.

in correcting and helping the writer in finishing his paper.

wonderful experience to the writer.
5. SMAN 81 Jakarta, Shohibul Bakhri, Drs. MM as the headmaster of SMAN 81
Jakarta and Mrs. Retno as the English teacher at SMAN 81 Jakarta who helped the
writer and give him a lot of advices when the writer did his research.
6. The writers beloved parents, Siti Faizah and Sutarno (Alm.), the writers beloved
grandparents, Hj. Siti Nafisah and H. Marhadi (Alm) who always love, pray and
give their biggest support to the writer both physically and psychologically.
7. The writers best friends, Maulana Ikhsan, Restu Kurniawan Wibawa, Dini Arini,
S. Pd, Imam Basuki Rahmat, Raden Faradiba, S. Pd, Rizka Mustika, Ita Fauziah,
Chairunnisa, Indah Aminah, Siti Kholillah, and Octika Dwi Nooralisa who have
struggled together, shared many memorable stories and times. Thank you for your
never ending support, helps, great love, suggestions and advices to the writer in
finishing his paper.
8. All of people around the writer that cannot be mentioned one by one, who have

Finally, the writer also realizes that this paper is far from being perfect, so the
