Tuning

Haremos un trabajo de afinacin de la guitarra con cuatro

ejercicios progresivos:

We will work tuning the guitar

with four progressive exercises:

1. Cmo me llamo?
Aprenderemos la meloda que
se produce al tocar las cuerdas
afinadas, tanto en sentido ascendente como descendente. A
la vez cantaremos el nombre del
alumno jugando con el apellido,
diminutivos, etc., para que coincida:

1 .- What's my name?
Learn the melody that occurs
when you touch the strings in tune, both upwards and downwards. We are singing the student's name, using the surname,
nicknames, etc., to match notes
with lyrics:

2. Encuentra el fallo!
Desafinaremos una cuerda y el
alumno debe averiguar cual es
cantando como en el ejercicio
anterior.

2 .- Find the bug!

Well put one string out the tune
and the student must find out
wich one is, singing as in the
previous exercise.

3. Portamentos
El alumno cantar como debera haber sonado la cuerda desafinada (exercise n1) y seguidamente har un portamento hasta el tono que da su guitarra. Debe saber si sube o si baja.

3 . Portamentos
The student will sing as the out of
tune string should have sounded
(exercise #1) and then make a
portamento to the tone that
your guitar gives. He should
know if it goes up or down.

4,- Afinada!!
Iremos cantando y girando la
clavija hasta que est afinada y
comprobaremos con el ejercicio
n1. Progresivamente iremos eliminando pasos y lo haremos
cantando internamente.

4 - Tuned!
