Legal
Trespass- In the UK there is a law that says it is a criminal
offence to obstruct the free passage on the highway, footways,
bike paths and roads.
Generally you have the right to photograph anywhere that is
public property, including public roads, footpaths, rights of way
and between high and low tide at least if not the entire beach
areas throughout the UK. Generally no person has the right of
privacy of themselves or their property photographed from
such a place.[source]
Copyright- Copyright was created so that the creator of original
work gets the credit they deserve and has all the rights to it
and its distribution. This is only for a limited time but usually
until after they have died. If you wanted to use somebody
elses work you would first have to ask for permission,
otherwise you could get into serious trouble with the copyright
law.
Intellectual Property- Intellectual property refers to physical
creative work e.g. art, inventions, designs. The rights to these
come down to the copyright, design rights and trademarks.
Obscenity Law- There is a law that was passed in 1973 that
says that you cannot use inappropriate language or be rude on
tv, radio or in images as it may offend many different types of
people.
