Bhavishyat Ithasala yoga The concept is typical to Tajak and involves two planets,
namely, the ascendant lord and the lord of the house whose significations need to be studied
for a particular year. It must fulfill the following two conditions: The fast-moving planet is at
the end of a sign, that is, within the last degree. The slow moving planet is in the beginning of
the next sign and within the Deeptansha range of the two planets. When two planets are placed
in contiguous houses, they are devoid of any mutual aspect and, therfore incapable of forming
a Ithasala. The moment the faster planet enters the next sign to join the slower planet, an
Ithasala is formed. This indicates the fulfilment of some promise but towards the end of the
year. There is yet another situation of Bhavishat Ithasala: Two planets mutually aspect each
other. The slower planet is ahead of the faster planet (higher in only degrees of longitude). The
slower planet, however, is beyond the Deeptansha range. By virtue of the faster planets
entering within the Deeptansha range, Ithasala is established.
