Summary
Firstly, teacher creates a comfortable environment for students to talk about feelings and
emotions by asking them how are you?, how do you feel? Urging students to talk will be
beneficent for children to feel comfortably; afterwards, showing an Animoto video will make
the environment active and this can draw attention of students. Later on, teacher shows the
questions that she asked before and shows a Prezi presentation in which there are pictures of
emotions. There is a song in the Prezi, teacher and students listen it twice and try to sing it
together with the song, then teacher shows one flash card to each student and asks the name
of the emotion. After flashcard activity, teacher asks students when they feel happy or sad
when the day is rainy o sunny? etc., and tries to make them correlate the emotions with
weather conditions. At the end of the lesson, teacher shows Animoto video again for revision.
