January
9th!
Welcome back! I hope that you had a restful and relaxing break. We are excited about starting our Class Store for the 2nd Semester in 2nd grade. Students will earn money for good behavior and making good choices. They will spend
their money every other week at our store. This is a great way to utilize the life
skill of counting money and making change. Please send in any items that you are
willing to donate for our class store. I will begin collecting items this week. I will
email and send out a parent letter in the Friday Folder describing items that will
be appropriate for our store.
We are off to a great start to the second semester in 2nd
Grade! I am so proud of how much my students have grown
academically in just five months. I will include their DIBELS
fluency score with the Report Cards on Monday. Continue to read
each night with your child and encourage them to keep up the
great work.
Many Thanks, Mrs. Danley :)
