Jaeshawn Gillett
1.The way I used context clues to better understand context clues has helped me a
lot in my reading. When I was reading this article on William Kamkwamba there
were a few phrases that were a bit out of the ordinary to me, for example; "cheetah
generation". Then I began to read around what that phrase meant and it became
clear to me. Im very glad that I had this story challenge me to better myself with
my reading comprehension skills.
2. The three words I needed to use context clues on were resonated, cobbled,
cheetah generation. When I reread the sentence and looked before the word or after
the word it gave me a hint about the meaning of it.
3. Three words that has a positive connation in the article are resonates, incredible
and unpretentious. These words give you a good feeling. I believe that it
emphasizes the impact he has made. It shows that his ambition & his humbleness.
