Eligibility
The candidates for the programme should have one of the following qualifications obtained from any
of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational
institutions established by an act of the Parliament of India or declared to be deemed as a university
under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry
of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE.
A Masters degree or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks (or, its
equivalent in terms of CGPA).
OR
A CA, ICWA, CS or equivalent degree with a minimum 55% aggregate marks (for Finance area)
In addition,
1. All candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks in all their public examinations starting
with the secondary level.
2. They should be currently employed in full time job.
3. They should have at least seven years of executive/managerial/academic experience in the relevant
area as on 31st May 2017.

Age Limit
Candidates must not be more than 55years of age as on 31st May 2017.

Selection Process
Applicants who fulfill above eligibility criteria would be required to have valid test score of CAT/
GRE/ GMAT/ GATE and JRF/NET (UGC/CSIR). Scores of any of these examinations taken during the
last two years (i.e., after 01 April, 2015) would be considered valid. Applicants who have already
obtained PGDM equivalent degree (PGP/IPMX/WMP) from any IIM or AACSB/AMBA/EQUIS
accredited educational Institutes in India and abroad (with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10.0 point
scale) would be exempted from this test score requirement. Applicants who are MBAs from nonaccredited educational Institutes but have at least one research publication in a journal of category C
and above as per ABDC (Australian Business Deans Council) rating are also exempted from the test
score requirement. Applicants who have published research papers before are advised to visit the
relevant ABDC webpage (http://www.abdc.edu.au/master-journal-list.php), click Download Master
Journal List, check the ratings of the journals in which their research papers are published and, fill the
data entry form accordingly.
Candidates having valid test score as mentioned above or PGDM equivalent degree from IIMs or
AACSB/AMBA/EQUIS accredited educational Institutes are eligible to apply for 2nd year of EFPM
program.
Candidates, who are appearing for CAT / GRE / GMAT/GATE and JRF/NET (UGC/CSIR), may fill in
relevant parts of EFPM application form and provide in EFPM admission application information on
these tests.
All application form will be screened by separate screening committees. The candidates short-listed on
the basis of their academic record and performance in the competitive examinations mentioned above
will be called to any one of IIM Lucknow campuses (Lucknow / Noida) for personal interview in May
2017. Successful candidates will receive offers and the program is expected to start by the middle of
June 2017.

Reservation
Reservation for eligible categories will be as per Government of India rules applicable for doctoral
programme at the time of admission.

Duration of the Programme and Accommodation

For candidates who are admitted in the first year of the programme, first year course work will be held
together with students of WMP (Working Managers Programme). The dates and schedules of these classes
will be announced by the WMP Office and all non-exempted selected candidates will be advised to attend
them.
For exempted candidates who are directly admitted to the second year, three campus visits of 21 days
duration each are needed to finish the course work during one year. Classes for these candidates will be
held in three modules respectively in July/August2017, November/December2017 and April/May2018.
The modules may be held either in Lucknow or in the Noida campus of the Institute.
During campus visits, the fee payable for boarding and lodging facility will be recovered from the
candidates on actual basis. The fee will be intimated before the commencement of term by the EFPM
office.
EFPM is a part-time non-residential programme. The student is expected to complete the programme
ordinarily in four years (three years in case of exempted candidates) and a maximum of six years (five
years in case of exempted candidates). Under special circumstances, students are eligible to get one time
extension of one year and if they fail to complete the programme, their registration will be terminated.

Course Fee
At the time of admission, a non-refundable acceptance fee of Rs.50,000/- will be paid by all candidates.
The detailed course fee breakup (excluding the acceptance fee of Rs.50,000/-) across years is provided

Thus, for non-exempted candidates who fulfill all the requirements of the program in time, the total course
fee works out to be Rs.6,00,000/-. For exempted candidates who join directly to Year 2 of the program, the
total course fee works out to be Rs.4,00,000/-, provided they satisfy all the requirements of the programme
within the stipulated time.

It may be noted that

(1) The above cost does not include boarding & lodging during campus visits. These costs will be
recovered from the candidates on the basis of actuals.
(2) The above costs also do not include service tax.
(3) After Year 4, if all the requirements of the programme are not fulfilled by the candidate, then
he/she will pay Rs.50,000 per year as course fee for all subsequent years.

Applicants, who are appearing for CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE and JRF/NET (UGC/CSIR), may fill in
relevant column of EFPM application form and provide scores of these relevant examinations to EFPM
OFFICE latest by 20th April, 2017.
A candidate is eligible to submit applications to a maximum of two areas. In such cases, two copies of
the application form, one for each area, with all supporting documents may be sent together. Completed
application forms along with a draft of Rs. 1000/- drawn in favor of IIM Lucknow payable at Delhi
should be sent to the following address. The application form can also be obtained from the office on
request. Duly filled in application form along with a draft of Rs.1000/-(Rs. 500 for SC/ST Candidates)
must reach the following address on or before 15 March 2017.
