Pre Sense Basic. As the vehicle pulls away the automatic seat belt tensioner is activated once (this can be disabled in the MMI). If Pre Sense Basic detects an unusual
driving manoeuvre, various fully reversible measures can be implemented including: belt tensioning, closing of sunroof and side windows, hazard lights activated.

Adaptive Cruise Control (with stop & go function) and Pre Sense Front. Pre Sense Front uses the radar sensors of the Adaptive Cruise Control to monitor the risk of a
collision with traffic in front. If Pre Sense Front detects a hazard situation Audi braking guard warns the driver. The system then supports the driver, as soon as he/she
reacts and increases braking force if necessary. Initiates partial braking if the driver does not react. In extreme cases, system activates anticipatory protective systems.
The system can brake the vehicle to a standstill and resume again at the drivers request (only available with Driver information system in colour, 9Q8). Not available
with PCH.
