I am pleased to write this letter on behalf of Andrea Ayala. Andrea has attended NOVA Academy Early College High School for the past 4 years. I have had the pleasure of having Andrea as my student for the past year. I have had Andrea in a variety of courses which she has been able to exemplify leadership skills, concern for others, intellectual curiosity, and maturity.
Over the past few years Andrea has exhibited leadership skills through her work in ASB and a program we have on campus called Ambassadors. Andrea has been a part of ASB for the last few years, where she is currently our ASB President. As President, Andrea is in charge of running ASB meetings, attending School Site Council Meetings, facilitating Inter-Club Council meetings, and doing the daily announcements. Andrea has also been an Ambassador at NOVA Academy for the last 2 years, through this program she has been able to participate in community outreach and recruitment for our school.
This year in my AP Government and Politics course she has demonstrated a great deal of intellectual curiosity. Andreas study skills and work habits have vastly improved over the course of the semester. When Andrea needs extra help, he is never afraid to ask for it. Andrea has also been part of the UCI EOCP program for the past year, which I am the advisor of. Andrea demonstrated that she was willing and capable to put in the effort, time, and handwork that it would take to excel in these courses. Andrea through all of her hard work and determination has been able to get an A in her coursework. This is no easy feat as it is a UC level courses and she is still in high school.
As a person, Andrea is a kind, generous, and hardworking. As a student, Andrea is one of the most honest and trustworthy that I have met thus far in my career.
I am confident that Andrea will make a great addition to any organization. I am very proud of his perseverance and dedication to excellence. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. Sincerely, Rashi Seth AP Government and Economics Teacher NOVA Academy ECHS
