Description:
Together with the students we joined this international initiative in order to implement the
educational programme YOUR ideas, YOUR initiatives - Road Safety and Mobility Project for All in
Scoala Gimnaziala Constantin Gh. Marinescu Galai.
The world we live in exposes the children to lots of dangers. One of the purposes of modern
education is to prepare them to successfully face different crisis situations that might appear.
In this project we wish to make known the traffic rules on public roads and form a preventive
behaviour to the children.
The contents of the project focuses on the students quality of traffic/pedestrian partner.
During the allocated classes, the students discover the traffic rules, new conducts and solutions
to real situations through games, discussions and observations. At the same time they refresh
and update their knowledge, skills and abilities already acquired.
Argument:
The local project implemented at my class comes as a consequence of:
Observation of the childrens behaviour in the pedestrian traffic and on the playgrounds
Talks with the students which prove that they do not always choose their playgrounds
correctly and safely
Realization of the necessity to introduce the theme of the road safety in the school and
family life in order to encourage the childrens responsible attitude as participants in the traffic

7. Title:
THE FUTURE OF OUR CITY a big puzzle
Let's imagine a livable city !
The students first imagine their own community. They design a map of the
community, mark roads and empty land on which constructions may later
appear.
Each student receives tokens representing houses, shops, schools,
churches, administrative buildings etc. After cutting out the tokens they
consider necessary, the students decide the place for the buildings, the
way to use the land, the names of the streets and other aspects related to
the community.
The individual works are then assembled on a stand (white board), thus
obtaining a larger community, a town/city. Our town as we imagine it will
be in the future.
