Applications are invited to fill-up 0l(one) tenporary appointment of Guest Teacher
in Rabindranritva.
The candidates shall have no claim for regurar appointrnent in future.
Name of the post: Tenrporary appointment of Guest Teacher in Rabindranritya, in
the Dept. of Rabindra
Sangit, Dance & Drarna, Sangit-Bhavana.
Honorarium of Guest teacher will be Rs. 5004 Per Lecture, subject to a maximum of
Rs. 20.000/per month.
Essential Qualification :
i. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point
scale wherever
grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level, in the relevant
sr,rbject or an equivalent degree
fiom a recognized University.

ii' Besides fLrlfilling the above qualifications. candiclates must have cleared rhe National Eligibility
Test
(NET) conducted by the UCC, CSIR, or sinrilar test accreclited by the UGC.
However, candidates, who
are, or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the Urriversity
Crants Cornrnission
(Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulatibns
2009, shall be exempted
from the requirement of the rninirnurn e lieibilitv
condition of NET/SLET/SET fbr recruitnlnt and appointment of Assistant prot-essor
or equivalent
positions in Universities / Colleges / InstitLrtions.

i. A traditional and a professional artist with highly commendable professional

achievement in the
concerned sLrbject. wlro should have:
Studied under noted/reputed traditional nlasters and has tlrorough ltnowledge to
explairr the subject

(c) Ability to explain the logical reasoning of the subject concerned and adequate
knowledge to teach
theory with illustrations in that discioline.

Dgsirable Oualifi cations:-

institution.

Artist with adequate knowledge and ability to teach and explain the Tagore's Ceetinatya
and
Nrityanatya i n Santi rri l<etan trad ition.
Sound practical l<nowledge of traditiorral in Rabindranritya.
