The Hacienda La Puentes Instructional Services Division and Adult Education program will host an educational event that is
open to the community. Parent workshops will be offered which parents can choose three. Please see flyer for details.

Guidance Information & Updates

Juniors: Credit Checks and Registration
In the next month, counselors will meet with all juniors to review credits toward
graduation, register for 12th grade classes and discuss postsecondary options.
Course registration forms for 11th grade students are due February 2.

Freshman & Sophomore Registration

Counselors will be presenting to all freshmen and sophomores in their
classrooms in the month of February to review course offerings for the next
school year. Registration forms will be given to students at that time.

News from UCSB

Seniors: Fall 20176 freshmen decisions will be released online on Tuesday 3/21.
Freshmen/Sophomores/Juniors: High school students in the 9th-11th grades can
apply for UCSBs Research Mentorship Program (RMP) or the Science &
Engineering Research Academy (SERA). These summer programs provide
students with a unique opportunity to gain university-level research experience
and earn college credit. Please click on links for more information online.

Seniors: 2017-2018 Financial Aid Applications

Seniors who plan to pursue higher education after high school should submit a
free financial aid application, in order to determine eligibility for financial aid.
The priority deadline is March 2, 2017.
