Aviation Marketing Mix: Business to Airline (B2A)

 Moving ad-hoc operations actually contracted in allotments developed by the


local hotels into a joint charter operation;
 Search for charter airlines : national and international
 Building partnerships with the national trade (travel agents/tour operators
incoming) looking for international synergies in order to sell Alentejo as a
destination: set up touristic packages in partnership with the national and
international trade;
 Identification of the tour operators in the outbound and potential markets with
capacity to sell the Alentejo product;

The Portuguese tourism office (Turismo de Portugal), the Portuguese


airports management company (ANA) and Madeira airports management
company (ANAM) are the promoters of a national co-investment initiative
to encourage the development of inbound tourism markets to Portugal
