The procurement and supply in sequence and at the appropriate time all metallic and nonMetallic materials and consumables, required for complete construction/ fabrication/ erection/
installation of all bought out components and free issue materials/ inspection/ testing/
insulation/ painting/ handing over of tanks including instrumentations, piping, structural works,
electrical works, accessories and attachments as per Engg. data sheet and specifications,
except material specifically listed under EXCLUSION to scope of supply and work shall entirely
ll include but not be limited to
the following:
(a)
LTCS (A-537 Cl. 1) plates for inner shell, inner and outer bottom/ annular plate, outer shell,
outer dome roof, roof structure, suspended deck, suspended deck structure and hanger,
reinforcement pads, manway necks, structural, gussets and attachments on inner tank
components/ outer tank bottom and shell, nozzle necks > 10
, internal
ladder, supports, internals, etc. (all components in touch of liquid Propane / Butane / LPG).

Structural steel for outer tank outside stairway, platforms, hand railing etc.
(d)
Supply and erection of all structurals (e.g. Pump maintenance platform, hoist, stairways,
access platform etc.) coming on top of the tank including HOT and monorail.
(e)
All materials required for Earthing and Lighting of the tank as per bid document.
(f)
(g)
Forged flanges/ blind flanges (wherever necessary) for nozzles, manholes and other
appurtenances.

Supply of manpower, materials, consumables required for Cool down and purging of the
tank and other commissioning/pre-commissioning activities.

All manpower, tools, tackles, materials (metallic and non metallic)/ consumables and gases
which are not specifically listed above but required for satisfactory completion of all works in
system in all respects and as per the instructions of site in charge.

(a)
Complete fabrication and erection of Double Wall Storage Tank providing all necessary
construction equipment, machinery, deployment of cranes, hydra, forklifts etc., lifting and
erection tools and tackles; temporary structure clamps, wedges and all labour, supervision
etc. required for the tank.
(b)
Installation and testing of Free Issue Intank pumps as per the guidelines provided by Intank
pump supplier. Guidelines shall be furnished to the successful bidder.

SECTION-B
SCOPE OF WORK FOR TENDERS (PIPING)
Generally the Piping scope of work of contractor shall include the following activities relating to tender
for Double walled tankages (LPG import terminal-Haldia):

Procure and supply all piping material related to the Double walled Tanks of LPG Import Terminal
Haldia as per the piping drawings, piping material specifications, technical specification, P&IDs,
Inspection and test plans of the respective items and from EIL approved vendors only.
Piping materials include the following but is not limited to the same:

Contractor shall appoint a Third Party Inspection Agency (TPIA) as approved by Owner/EIL. All
tests and checks shall be inspected by TPIA as per the agreed

point, contractor has to arrange for transport of the materials & reconcile of all Owner supplied free
issue materials.
It may be noted that warehouse, work shop / Field shop for any Pre-fabrication, Surface
preparation, Painting / coating, cement lining etc., may not be located inside Terminal
premises (as detailed elsewhere) due to space constraints. Contractor shall accordingly
arrange for transport of material and the pre-fabricated spools to worksite for erection.

Shop & field fabrication and erection of piping in accordance with documents listed under CL. 2.0
i.e., 'BASIS OF WORK' including erection of all piping materials enumerated above. All inline
instruments shall also be installed along with the piping.

Supply, Fabrication and erection of pipe supports like shoes, saddles, guides, dummy pipes, stops,
anchors, clips, cradles, hangers, turn buckles, special supports, supporting fixtures, brackets,
cantilevers, lubrite /graphite/PTFE low friction pads, roller supports, struts, tee-posts, including
erection of spring supports, expansion bellows, steam and condensate manifolds and sway braces.

Site Fabrications of piping items including but not limited to the same:

Fabrication of piping specials like special radius bends, reducers, miters, etc.
b.
Fabrication of plain and threaded nipples from pipes as required during erection

Fabrication of odd angle elbows like 60, 30, or any other angle from 90/45 elbows as

Fabrication of flanges, reducing flanges, blind flanges, spectacle blinds, crosses, jumpovers
etc. as and when required.

Fabrication of circular pipe for steam rings, fire water lines, utility lines at all levels and

Obtaining approval for the piping systems falling under purview of IBR from the statutory Indian
Boiler Regulations (IBR) authority of the state where the plant is situated. The documentation for
the IBR System shall be provided to the contractor. In case the local IBR authority insists that the
documentation is required to be submitted in an alternate format then it will be co
responsibility to get the isometrics, system isometrics, IBR calculations etc. from the original
package and get it revised in the appropriate format as required by the local IBR authority at no
extra cost. The revised package shall require Owner/EIL approval. System isometrics or GAD
required by IBR authorities shall be made by Contractor based on the available isometrics.
1.6
Modifications like providing additional cleats for extension of stem of valve, locking arrangement of
valves, providing chain operation facility etc. as and when required.
1.7
Isometrics for small bore piping for main process / utilities shall be provided to contractor. However,
Preparation of Isometrics & bill of materials for small bore lines related to instruments & pump
flushing / cooling, sprinkler piping over pumps / vessels / columns / air coolers, purging, pump vent
& drain lines to CBD/OWS/SS & drain lines from LG ,LT to CBD/OWS/SS, steam tracing (Non-IBR)
from steam supply stations up to condensate recovery station, supporting details of all Non-IBR
lines up to and including 1- 1/2" and lines specified as field routed within the unit battery limit
including subsequent approval from Engineer-inscope of work. Small bore piping isometrics given by owner shall be rechecked by Contractor and
contractor.
The material for all above shall be free issued.
For sprinkler system, isometrics of main header will be provided. Preparation of isometric for
branch piping and modification of main header for inclusion of branches, rings and pipes for
sprinklers over equipments for all size is part of Contractor deliverables as part of his Document.
The above lines up to and including 1- for IBR
lines only the support type e.g. resting/guide/cross guide etc shall be specified in the drawing)
within the unit battery limit including approval by Engineer-inwork.

Obtaining approval from statutory authority, for drawing prepared by contractor wherever required
as per instructions of Engineer-in-charge.

Fabrication and erection of small structures for pipe supports and valve operation / attending some
instruments etc., providing brackets from structures for pipe supports, modification / extension of
platforms, providing additional platforms / ladders for improving / providing accessibility, including
supply of necessary materials.

Flushing and testing of all piping systems as per Standard Specification for Inspection, flushing and
pressure testing of erected piping systems (6-44-0013) . The accessories required for blinding the
line like flange, blind flange, gasket (all sizes, type and rating), stud-bolts, flexible hoses etc. are to
be arranged by the Contractor. During flushing the discharged water / air shall be drained / routed
as directed by the Engineer In Charge.

1.13 Fire Fighting System (Above Ground) & C.S. Galvanised Piping (Above ground).
Fire water CS piping above ground shall be supplied / fabricated/ erected/tested etc. as per
isometrics and respective PMS.
The C.S. Galvanised (above ground) piping shall be done as per applicable piping material
specification and the isometrics. Wherever insulation is required as per isometrics or P&IDs the
same shall be provided.

Wherever piping class breaks of high pressure/ low pressure are involved, the high pressure circuit
shall be tested up to piping class spec. break and the low pressure circuit shall be done up to the
nearest flange of high pressure piping.

Bought out manifold shall be used for steam tracing as per std. 6-44-007. Steam tracing shall be
of very large bore piping is required job specification for steam tracing shall be followed which will
be furnished to successful bidder. Fabrication and erection of steam supply/ condensate recovery
manifolds if required and tracer pipes in accordance with approved drawings and standards.

Providing insert plates with anchor fasteners in concrete structures / paved floors, openings for
pipes in floor and repair of platform gratings around pipe openings and providing suitable members
for support under the platform grating. Materials required for above are in Contractor
supply.

Hydraulic bolt tensioning & torquing shall be performed on flange joints as per the requirements
76-0002) For determining the lines requiring torquing as per subject document, PMS class shall be
referred. Wherever sizes / piping class are not covered in this specification, the same shall be
furnished to successful bidder.

Contractor shall prepare welding specifications for all weld joints where dissimilar welding will be
performed, and obtain approval from EIL.

SOR item for reinforcement pads also includes pneumatic testing of the pads.

Erection of all inline instruments like flow instruments & speciality items like static mixers, exhaust
head, rupture disk, flow meters, venture tubes, flame arrestor, thermal flow switch etc. shall be
considered as part of piping and separate payment shall not be made on this account.

Erection of control valves and other inline instruments shall be done after completion of all kind of
works in the lines like pressure testing, flushing/ chemical cleaning etc. For dimensional verification
of piping during fabrication of respective process lines, temporary spool pieces have to be used in
place of control valves. The spool piece shall be fabricated by the contractor at site. The temporary

permits for working in the plant shall have to be taken from the Owner by the Contractor whenever
the same is required. Contractor shall carry out work only after obtaining clearance from the
Owner.

AS BUILT: Contractor shall prepare the as-built marked-up copies of equipment layout, GADs and
isometrics and get it approved by Engineer In-charge. CDs and hard copies of as-built drawings
shall be supplied as per Special Condition of Contract. All the above said work are to be
completed within quoted rates of piping and no separate payment shall be made on this account.
Contractor shall hand over the updated drawings/ documents (native files etc.) after completion of
the as-built work to EIL. The drawings / documents shall not be used for any purpose other than
updation as mentioned above.

Any damage to Painting and insulation on the existing equipment and piping shall be made good
by the Contractor. The EIL specifications for Insulation & Painting shall be followed in such cases.

Contractor shall note that he has to facilitate in the smooth fabrication, erection, testing of such
packages. Any items required for completing the packages which due to unforeseen reasons have
not been completed by the concerned vendor shall be completed by Mechanical contractor.

Contractor shall carry out removal of all temporary support, bracing or other foreign objects
that were installed in vessels, piping or other equipment to prevent damage during
shipping, storage and erection and repair any damage sustained.

All the codes referred above shall be of the latest edition, at the time of award of contract.

The tentative material requirements and quantity of procurement is listed in the schedule of
rates based on the preliminary P&IDS. However based on the actual detail engineering the
quantities shall be revised and provided to contractor. However after receipt of the
quantities if Contractor has to check the requirement of materials and the quantities based
on the actual requirements, fabrication and erection margins, support requirements, testing
requirements etc.
If any items are not appearing in SOR and there are no rates available then contractor shall
submit necessary documentation as required by Engineer in-charge and the payments
shall be made on actual cost to the contractor based on the documentary evidences.
Contractor shall check whether any materials which is required for the job is available in
Owners store before starting the process of procurement.
All procurement of piping items shall be consistent with the technical notes for purchase of
piping items & the relevant ITPs which will be provided to the bidders for inclusion in their
material requisitions. All material and purchase requisitions have to be approved by site
engineer-in-charge.

identification marks) and Instrument impulse lines.

GENERAL
1.1
INTRODUCTION
a)
This section defines the electrical scope of work for Tankage tender. The intent of this specification
is to define the electrical requirements covered under the scope of this tender for LPG import
terminal project of M/s BPCL.
b)
The work shall be carried out to the best workmanship like manner, in conformity with these
specifications, approved drawings/ construction drawings and the instructions of the owner or
Engineer-in-Charge from time to time.
c)
The contract shall include clearing of temporary constructions, waste materials and loose earth,
which might get collected in and nearby the work site during execution of work and after final
completion.
1.2
STANDARDS
a)
The work shall be performed in conformity with these specifications and code of practices of the
Bureau of Indian Standards. In case of any conflict, the most stringent one shall be followed and
bring the same to the notification of EIL.
b)
In addition, the work shall also conform to the requirements of the following:

The fire insurance Regulations.
Indian Petroleum Rules.

GUARANTEE

workmanship and materials (supplied by the contractor) for a period as specified elsewhere. Any
damage or defect connected with the erection of materials, equipments or fittings supplied by the
contractor that may be discovered at the time of issue of the completion certificate, or arise or
come to light thereafter, shall be rectified or replaced by the contractor at his own expense as
deemed necessary and as per the instruction of Owner or Engineer-in-Charge within the time limit
specified by the Owner or Engineer-in-Charge.

The electrical scope covered under this tender includes complete electrical works pertaining to
lighting, earthing, cabling of intank pumps for tankage tender. Following electrical items are in scope

INTERFACE/BATTERY LIMIT
3.1
Owner shall provide one number of 415V TPN supply to the flame proof lighting panel (supplied by
contractor). Further distribution of power for lighting are in contractor scope.
For insubstation to terminal box/junction box (supplied by others) located at top of the tank. Further
cabling (excluding supply of cable) from terminal box/junction box to motors terminals are in
cable for in-tank pumps &
lighting shall be supplied and installed by contractor from battery limit of tanks onwards.
Details of power & control cables for each in-tank pumps:
1. Power cable- 2Rx3Cx300 sqr mm Aluminium cable.
2. Control cable- one number thermistor cable for motor, one number for LCS cable for each motor.
3. 2Cx2.5 sqr mm copper cable for motor space heater
Supplies of above cables are not in scope of contractor.

All electrical items shall be flame proof (Ex-d) type, applicable for the installation in zone -2, gas
group IIA/IIB. Flameproof (Ex-d) equipment shall conform to IEC 60079-1 (2001) / IEC-60079-1
(2007).
4.2
All electrical equipment shall have test certificates issued by recognized independent test house
(CIMFR/ CPRI/ ERTL/ Baseefa/ LCIE/ UL/ FM or equivalent). All indigenous electrical item shall
conform to Indian standards and shall be certified by recognized testing agencies. All motors
(indigenous & imported) shall also have valid statutory approvals (e.g. PESO, DGMS etc). as
applicable for the specified location. All indigenous flameproof motors shall have valid BIS license
and marking as required by statutory authorities.

Vendor shall supply cable glands and tinned copper lugs for equipments supplied by them Cable
glands shall be of nickel plated brass unless otherwise specified. All cable glands/adaptor/blocking
plugs for use in hazardous area shall conform to requirements of latest IEC 60079-0.

providing all assistance and interface connections as per drawings to enable others to take up
testing and commissioning activities of their equipment/ systems.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
11.1
Various electrical works covered under this contract like equipment installation, cabling, lighting and
earthing works, etc. shall be performed in accordance with the EIL standard specifications &
installation standards, enclosed with the tender document and approved earthing, lighting & cable
layout (prepared by contractor). (Certain clauses of specifications which are applicable to equipment
or systems not covered under this contract shall be omitted).
Installation, testing and commissioning of equipment shall be performed in accordance with
-in-charge.
All electrical equipment shall be said to be installed and mechanically complete after circuit testing
and loop simulation is complete. Due care and consideration shall be given to the installation of all
equipment, material and facilities.
All equipments supplied by the contractor shall be supplied with nickel plated brass cable glands
(where required) and tinned copper lugs. The cable glands shall be single compression type and
double compression type for indoor and outdoor equipment respectively.
All outdoor lighting fittings & fittings shall be with IP-65 enclosure. Terminal blocks for these shall be
bolted type.
All outdoor equipment shall be supplied with proper G.I canopy with full coverage of equipment from
3 sides.
All other Electrical equipment, materials and work not explicitly mentioned but nevertheless required
to fulfill the following minimum requirements shall be deemed to be included in the scope of the
CONTRACTOR with no additional cost and time implication to OWNER / EIL
i). Achieving the plant equipment and personnel safety.
ii). To meet the equipment and environment safety.
iii). To suit site facilities and environmental conditions.
iv). To meet the requirement of statutory approving authority

Site inspection, testing and commissioning of electrical installation shall be carried out as per
enclosed Specification no. 6-51-0087 and Inspection and Test Plans listed in the list of attachments.
All the equipment installed by the contractor shall be tested and commissioned, as required.
Contractor shall carefully inspect all equipment before receiving them from owner/EIL for installation
purposes. Any damage or defect noticed shall be brought to the notice of the engineer-in-charge at
that time.
Any work not conforming to the execution drawings, specifications or codes shall be rejected
forthwith and the contractor shall carry out the rectification at his own cost.
The contractor shall carry out all the tests as enumerated in the tender and technical specifications
and technical documents which may be furnished to him during performance of the work.
Before the electrical system is made live, the electrical contractor shall carry out suitable tests to
establish to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge/ Owner/ EIL that the installation of equipment,
cabling/ wiring and connections have been correctly done and are in good working condition and
that the system/ equipment will operate as intended.
All tests shall be conducted in the presence of Owner/ EIL/ Engineer-in-Charge or his authorized
representative unless he waives this requirement in writing. Contractor shall arrange testing

equipment, as required to carry out the tests. Test results shall be recorded on approved Performa
and certified records of the tests shall be submitted to Owner/ EIL/ Engineer-in-Charge.
After the completion of all tests and rectification of all defects pointed out during final inspection,
plant start-up trials shall commence. During the start-up trials, contractor shall provide skilled/
unskilled personnel and supervision round the clock at his own cost. The engineer-in-charge/ owner/
EIL will decide the number and the category of workmen and their duration. Any defects noticed
during the start-up trials relating to the equipment supplied and work carried out by the contractor,

DRAWINGS

The drawings accompanying the tender document are indicative of the nature of work and issued for
tendering purpose only. The purpose of these drawings is to enable the tenderer to make an offer in
line with the requirements of the owner. However, no extra claim, whatsoever, shall be entertained
for any variati
any changes. Construction shall be carried out as per drawings / specifications issued / approved by
the engineer-in-charge during the course of execution of work. Detailed construction drawings on
the basis of which actual execution of work is to proceed will be furnished to the contractor
progressively based on the detailed construction program evolved after the award of work and also
based on construction progress achieved by the contractor.
Detailed earthing, lighting & cable layout for tankages shall be prepared & submitted by the

Prospective tenderer shall be deemed to have studied the drawings enclosed with tender or
displayed for scrutiny and fully understood the nature and magnitude of the work before submitting
the bids.
Where the contractor has to prepare drawings for fabrication, contractor shall submit the drawings to
engineer-in-charge and the approval in writing of the engineer-in-charge shall be obtained before
commencing fabrication.
After the job completion, contractor shall prepare 'Asdrawings shall be submitted by the contractor to owner in bound volumes with one set of
reproducible original sepia plus ten sets of prints.

Makes of electrical materials/ components/ equipments shall be selected out of the list given in the
tender. All electrical equipment shall be brand new with state of the art technology and proven
record. No prototype shall be offered. The make and type of equipment, if not specified in this
tender shall be subject to OWNER / EIL approval.
Vendor may procure material from any of the listed vendors. However current validity and range of
approval as per EIL enlistment letter, workload, stability and solvency need to be verified by the
vendor before placement of order.

Note: In case of any contradiction between these Specific Requirements and Requirements/
Specification specified elsewhere in the tender document, the Specific Requirements given
below shall have precedence.

Mandatory use of mechanical excavators for excavation, however manual excavation for minor
foundation can be taken up after due approval of Engineer-in-Charge.

Use of Ready-mixed Concrete (RMC) is mandatory for all plain & reinforced concrete works.

For borrowed earth or surplus earth disposal from outside plant boundary, location for borrow area/

Depth of open foundation in general shall be 3.0 m below HPP (This data is for general guidance of

procurement, installation of free / bought out items, inspection, testing, supply, assembly of
LPG/Propane/Butane Double Wall Full Containment Storage Tanks along with spares and all
accessories as outlined in specifications attached with this tender, Pre commissioning &
commissioning assistance of Package for LPG Import Terminal, Haldia of M/s Bharat
Petroleum Corporation Limited. This specification is also intended to supplement the scope
and obligation of the contractor.

100% radiography of all butt joints (longitudinal and circumferential) including nozzle
neck to flange, pipe to pipe, pipe to pipe fitting for LTCS material shall be considered for
Double wall storage tanks.
2.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
2.1.
All weld Joints should be 100% tested by RT. In addition, UT shall also be carried out with
Automatic Phased array technique along with TOFD.
2.1.4
Charpy V-notch impact test shall be carried out as per API-620 APPENDIX R at design
temperature indicated in the MDS for plates, welds and HAZs. Impact energy values shall
be as per API-620 APPENDIX R for plates and shall be as per Welding specification
A872-000-02-42-WPS-0002.
All plates supplied in Normalised condition and intended for hot rolling / hot
forming:
Heat Treatment Cycle
One normalizing + One stress relieving as per UCS-56 of ASME Sec. VIII Div.1
complying with UCS-85 of ASME Section VIII Div. 1.
2.1.6. Nozzles: The details of nozzles/sleeve etc. shall be firmed up by contractor. However,
thickness of insulation of nozzle sleeve shall be as per MDS.
2.1.7. Work can only be subcontracted to agencies approved by EIL and as per the
shall be taken before subcontracting the job and as per the requirements laid down in
2.1.8. Complete fabrication and erection procedure including inspection and test for all tanks
shall be submitted well in advance before proceeding with the job.

2.1.11. The steel shall be in killed condition and shall confirm to the fine austenitic grain size
requirement of A20/A20M.
2.1.12. The tolerance on thickness of plates shall be positive only.
2.1.13 Protection of Insulation: All insulation materials shall be stored in an enclosed and ventilated
dry place and shall be protected against water from the time they are dispatched to site, and
also protected at the site until they are required for installation. Adequate provisions shall be
made to ensure the complete absence of moisture in the insulation and in the zone where
insulation is to be installed while hydrotest.
2.1.14 No attempts shall be made to force two plates together due to distortion and/or improper fit.
2.1.15 Manways shall be provided with davits.
2.1.16 Earthing / Lighting of tanks:
Earthing / Lighting of tanks shall be as per Electrical Specification attached with the tender.
Earthing lugs, associated connectors and accessories etc. as required shall be provided by
the contractor for both tanks as per A872-030-80-43-SOW-6001.
2.2
2.2.1
Tank shall be provided with the appurtenances and accessories listed on engineering
data sheets. Accessories shall be suitable for the specified pressure and temperature
conditions as per specifications and in accordance with the requirements of codes
and safety standards.
2.2.2
Tanks shall be provided with staircase or spiral stair-way on outer tank as per MDS.
Walkways extending upto centre of the outer roof shall be provided.
2.2.3
There shall be a central platform together with another platform located on nozzles and
intank-pump side on outer dome roof of the tank.
2.2.4
Internal cage ladders with top platform and appropriate number of landings shall be
provided respectively for access upto the inner tank bottom and for access into the
annular space upto bottom as per MDS.
2.2.5
Hand rails shall be provided completely around the roof circumference, on stairways.
and near ladder/stairways landing. Handrails shall extend 2M on each side of working
areas on tank roof with the right angle corner extension at each open end . On dome
roof, hand railing shall extend on both sides of roof walkway and completely around the
working area/platforms.

In tank pumps shall be installed and tested by Contractor under the supervision of the
pump supplier. Also contractor to carry out testing of in tank pumps as per the
instruction of pump supplier.

Engineer- in-Charge.

No welding shall be permitted to the tank roof, shell or bottom after completion of
hydrostatic tests.

The Contractor shall submit all applicable weld procedures for Owner's approval,
and these shall be qualified prior to commencement of fabrication.

materials shall be witnessed by ElL.

Complete radiographic and D.P. examination shall be carried out irrespective of thickness and
material for any welded seam in the inner and outer tank.
4.2.2
For radiographic examination x-rays source shall be used. The uses of gamma-rays
examination require prior written approval from ElL.
4.2.3
The image quality of radiographic examination shall be in accordance with ASTM E 142 except
that the penetrameter design shall conform to API 620. Radiographic film shall be of fine grain
type possessing high contrast and definition, ASTM E94 type I and II and shall be used with
lead screens only. For any lot of film examined the film density over the weld shall average 2
and no individual film density shall show a density less than 1.5. For film density greater than 2
the adequacy of viewing equipment shall be approved by the Inspector.

removed by grinding, machining or wash blending with a tungsten inert gas torch.

Inner and outer bottom plate welds and the corner joint between shell and bottom shall be
tested by vacuum box method as per Clauses API 620 prior to the hydrostatic test of the
tank .

On completion of hydro-pneumatic tests the Contractor shall carefully examine the tank for
evidence of any structural damage or leakage and make necessary repairs as per the
requirements of code and this specification.
4.5.4
Contractor shall ensure and include suitable measures to prevent any water from entering
into the bottom insulation.
REPAIRS:
5.1
In addition to the defects listed in API 620, the following conditions are considered
defective and detrimental to the safety and appearance of a tank and shall be
repaired or removed.
Plate lamination, dents, flat spots, buckled or warped areas, wavy plates or plate edges,

Acceptable limit shall be as per applicable code.
5.2
When a plate is found to have a defective condition during fabrication , all further
work on that plate and each adjacent plate shall be stopped until the defective
condition is corrected.
5.3
Welds (with defective areas removed) shall be rewelded using qualified welding
procedure subject to ElL approval and repair welds shall be re-post weld heat
treated , if originally required and re-examined by original methods for freedom of
defect . If correction involves serious alterations, the approval of Inspector shall be
obtained prior to such correction.
6.1
After completion of the hydrostatic tests, the Contractor shall clean and remove
from inside of tank all sand, earth rubbish etc. which may have accumulated during
the test and shall mop the tank bottom until it is dry. The tank shall be left in a
condition acceptable to Owner/Ell.
6.2
Surface finish and painting of tank components including that of raw materials e.g.
plates shall be in accordance with specification 6-79-00020 & A872-000-02-PLS0001.

GUARANTEES:
Contractor shall be fully responsible for supplying tank in accordance with all the
requirements of bid document and all attached documents.
Furthermore Contractor shall guarantee that the materials used for the fabrication are
in accordance with the applicable codes, standards and specifications.
