1. OBJECTIVE
Participants (one team) are required to build two (2) self-contained mobile robots
that are able to move from the home position to the opponents zone to attack
opponent and its tower within five (5) minutes.
There are only two (2) teams in a match.
To win the game, each team is required to hit all three (3) gates (sensors located in
front of tower with height of 5 cm -10 cm) that are mounted on the opponents
tower. Each towers gates are equipped with an automated ejection ramp to defend
the gates from being hit by the opponents. Ejection ramp will randomly activate
from 1 sec to 10 sec periodically. Both tower will activate same ejection ramp at
same time unless 1 of the team take double damage rune.
1.1 Obstacles
There are obstacles (ditches, fencing, flat and inclined bridges) on the terrain
in the game field. Therefore, this game tests the participants robot maneuver skills
as well as strategy planning.
1.2 Spawning
Should a robot fell into ditches or incapacitated in any ways (turned turtle, side
flip and etc), the robot will be re-spawn back to its home (fountain) position. A
(10 seconds) cooling time will be imposed to the robot before it is allowed to
enter the field (controlled by an automatic barrier)
1.3 Spinning Bridge & Runes
Runes will appear in center of spinning bridge which spin in random speed (1
rpm 60 rpm) and direction every 30 sec (0:00, 0:30, 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, 2.30, 3:00,
3:30, 4:00, 4:30). New rune will not be generated if old rune is not taken. Rune LED
will light up to show rune is appeared and color change according to rune type.
Below is function of different rune type.
1.3.1 Double Damage Rune: Takers tower will attack x 2 times faster for 10
sec.
1.3.2 Regeneration Rune: Takers tower will regenerate health with speed 1
bar per 2 sec. Maximum 8 bars for 16 sec. Regeneration stop when takers tower is
under attack.
1.3.3 Fortification Rune: Takers tower immune to attack for 10 sec. Health
will not be generated and tower will continue attack during this effect.
1.4 Tower
Tower is equipped with 3 gates (touch switch) and 3 automatics ejection ramp
to defend tower. Tower do not require any player to control. Each gate consist of 3
health bars LED and 9 health bars LED in total. When gate being hit, 1 health bar
LED will light up. It require 2 sec cooldown time for next attack in order to get
another health bar light up. When all 9 health bars light up, attacker won the match.
If times up, winner declare based on highest tower health bar available (LED
off). If its a draw game and elimination round, extra 3 minutes will be given.
2. ROBOT SPECIFICATIONS
2.1 Dimensions and Weight
Maximum Robot Size: 15 cm (length) x 15 cm (width)
Maximum Weight: 500 g
Minimum Robot Front Height: 5 cm (in order to trigger sensor
on tower)
2.2 Restriction on robot design
2.2.1 Robots shall not employ any form of weapon
2.2.2 Robots shall not damage the arena deliberately
2.2.3 Robots shall not throw liquid or powder or other substances at the
opponent
2.2.4 Robot shall not have more/less than three (3) wheels.
2.2.5 All three wheels must always touch ground.
2.2.6 Robots front/rear wheel should be Nylon Universal Wheel.
2.2.7 Robots gear box should be common smart car gear motor.
Changing of motor (similar size) and wheel (similar size) is
allowed as long as gear box is same.
MATCH WINNER
The first team that hit all three gates to activate all nine health bars on the
opponents tower is considered as winner of the match within five minutes.

Note: Participant is NOT compulsory to buy from us as long as gearbox, wheels
and caster wheel dimension is similar. Any brand with similar size is allowed.
3. Q: Can we attack three gates simultaneously at the same time with our robot?
A: Can, but sensor will not read. Since it require 2 second cooldown for next attack.

5. Q: Can we attack two gates at the same time with two robots.
A: Can, but only 1 point will be awarded depends on sensed sensor.
6. Q: The height is 5 cm at the front. But can we make some mechanisms that rises above 5 cm
sometimes. Can we have more height at the back?
A: There is no restrictions on robot height. Recommended height at the front is to ensure your

A: Acrylic used for the game field floor and ramp as well.
8. Q: What is the height and slope angle of the ramp?
A: The height of the ramp is 150mm and the slope angle is approximate 30 degree.
