AGRICULTURE:
Agriculture is the cultivation and breeding
of animals, plants and fungi for food, fiber, biofuel, medicinal plants and other
products used to sustain and enhance human life.

Agricultural implements:
What is an agricultural implement? Implement is a tool,
utensil, or other piece of equipment that is used to reduce the
labour and also time.

Need for modern agricultural implements:

Due to rapid growth in population and increase in demand for food, modern
equipment's are needed. By modern or latest agricultural tools and machines not
only production increases but also the labour and time can be conserved. Safety
and life time of these are more.

Tractor:
It is a very useful agricultural machine, with
wheels or designed to move easily on the
ground and pulling power enabling
successful agricultural work, even in flooded
fields. It has two brake pedals and is
preparing to pull sledges.

Walking Tractor:
It is agricultural machine having a single axle
and is operated by handles, have median
motor power and strength led to horticultural
and ornamental work, can work in strong
fields, but is preferably used in construction
of gardens.

Sprayer:
Sprayer is a farm equipment designed to spray,
is composed of a liquid tank, pressure pump,
cap, mouth, tank and pressure valve, belts, hose,
faucet and nozzle where the liquid to spray out,
is insecticide, fungicide or herbicide.

Combine:
The combine harvester, or simply combine,
is a machine that harvests grain crops. The
name derives from its combining three
separate operations comprising harvesting,
reaping, threshing, and winnowing into a
single process.

Cotton harvester:
A cotton harvester is a machine
that automates cotton harvesting.

Field cultivator :
A field cultivator is a farm
implement for stirring and
pulverizing the soil, either
before planting or to remove
weeds and to aerate and loosen
the soil after the crop has begun
to grow. The main function of
the field cultivator is to prepare
a proper seedbed for the crop to
be planted into.

Cutters and shredders:

Cutters or shredders are agricultural
equipment's used to cut or shred
weeds or other unwanted vegetative
growth.

All-Terrain Vehicle OR ATV:

When farming is to be done
on small scale these are used
instead of tractors.

Wheel tractor-scraper:
A wheel tractor-scraper is a piece of
heavy equipment used for earthmoving.
These can made available as per farmers
crop pattern also. Theses are suitable for
weed removing operation in crop row of
width 1.5 and above. It remove weed from
roots 1.5 to 2 deep, Scraper blade sharp
edge cut removed weeds in to small pieces
and due to rotary motion, it get buried in to
soil. Thus improve soil condition by adding
green manure.

Planters and seeders :

These are used to
automatically plant the
seeds into the ground.

Baler:
A baler, most often called a hay baler is a piece
of farm machinery used to compress a cut and
raked crop (such as hay, cotton, flax straw, salt
marsh hay, or silage) into compact bales that are
easy to handle, transport, and store.

Binder:
The binder was a farm implement that
improved upon the reaper. In addition to cutting
the small-grain crop, it would also tie the stems
into small bundles, or sheaves.

Sub-soiler:
A kind of plough with no mould board, used to
loosen the soil at some depth below the surface
without turning it over.

Harrow:
In agriculture, a harrow is an implement
for breaking up and smoothing out the
surface of the soil. In this way it is distinct
in its effect from the plough, which is used
for deeper tillage.

Rotary tiller:
Rotary tiller is a mechanized cultivating
implement that is used to prepare soil for
planting. A tractor-mounted rotary tillers offer
faster, more efficient tilling of larger tracts of
land.

Huller:
A rice huller or rice husker is an agricultural
machine used to automate the process of
removing the chaff (the outer husks) of grains
of rice.

Packing:
Packing is a agricultural equipment is designed
for packaging or packing cereal straw or other
baled forage grasses (also called bales or
alpacas)
