A) Theme: To turn to the Lord, when you are suffering or in need of guidance during tough
times.

B) Reading: (Psalm 70: 2,3, 5) Graciously rescue me, God! Come quickly to help me Lord! Let
those who seek my life be confused and put to shame. But may all who seek you rejoice and be
glad in you!

C) Reflection:
We often turn away from God when we think we know better or do not need Him. Sadly, I turn
away from God sometimes, especially as I grow older. I have realized how I must allow God to
be the most important figure in my life as I go through decisions and experience peer pressures
as a teenager. We must realize that He will always be there for all of us when we need guidance
or when we feel like everything we do is a mistake, or nothing good ever happens to us. We need
to stay close to God and build our relationship and good things will occur and we will be happier
in the end. It is especially critical to stay close to God in times of suffering and need, as that is
when we need Gods grace and peace the most.

D) Prayer: Oh, heavenly Father,

Please guide through the good times and the bad,
Help me to become the best version of myself you intend me to be,
Allow me to remain faithful to you throughout all my life,
For you are my savior and greatest example to follow,

Thank you for forgiving me when I seem to do no right,

Thank you for every sacrifice, I take for granted,
Give me the courage to turn away from sin and avoid suffering,
And grant eternal strength to all souls who have turned away from you
Amen.
