Description
The American College of Healthcare Executives is an international professional
society of more than 40,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare
systems and other healthcare organizations.
The mission of the EI Consortium is to advance research and practice of emotional
and social intelligence in organizations through the generation and exchange of
knowledge. The Consortium for Research on Emotional Intelligence in
Organizations (CREIO) is currently made up of 12 core members and 89 additional
members who are individuals with a strong record of accomplishment as applied
researchers in the field. There also are six organizational and corporate members.
The Consortium was founded in the spring of 1996 with the support of the Fetzer
Institute. Its initial mandate was to study all that is known about emotional
intelligence in the workplace.

A mapping tool created by Joseph Luft and Harrington Ingham in the 1950s. The
tools can be used for mapping personality awareness. The goals of this tool are to
build trust with others by disclosing personal information about yourself in an
effort towards improving self-awareness, and mutual understanding between
individuals within a group.
The Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity is an interdisciplinary
engaged research institute at The Ohio State Universityestablished in May 2003.
It was named forformer university president William E. Brit Kirwan in
recognition of his efforts to champion diversity at OSU.

An online resource that provides practical, straightforward skills to assist career


develoment in core skill areas such as leadership, team management, problem
solving, communication skills, and project management.
The O*NET program is the nation's primary source of occupational information.
The O*NET database includes information on hundreds of standardized and
occupation-specific descriptors. The database, which is available to the public at
no cost, is continually updated by surveying a broad range of workers from each
occupation. Information from this database forms the heart of O*NET OnLine, an
interactive application for exploring and searching occupations. The database also
provides the basis for our Career Exploration Tools, a set of valuable assessment
instruments for workers and students looking to find or change careers.
