Mr. X:

This has reference to the twelve (12) checks signed by the undersigned in blank intended for the
payment of the loan which you purportedly obtained from XXXX sometime in May of 2016 for
the utilization by YYYYY while under contract with NNNN for Food Service in partnership with
you with the principal amount of Php500,000.00, exclusive of interest and other charges.

The said checks were issued exclusively and solely for the payment of the said loan until fully
settled through twelve (12) equal monthly installments to which the same (checks) corresponded.

It appeared, however, that the said loan did not exist and no such amount coming from that loan
was being utilized for NNNNNN. Since you are no longer part of the business, we find it just and
rightful to demand for the return the said checks immediately or upon receipt of this demand, the
same being our personal property.

Should you fail or refuse to fulfill this demand, we will be constrained to file an appropriate
action in court against you. Please consider this as our last and final demand.
