Network Security Requirements
The clients must have enough permissions to run the installation of the
EDO components at least the first time, these components should be
installed with administrator privileges.

In case the clients work with a laboratory behind a Firewall, a proxy or a

network antivirus, make sure that the domain engdis.com is defined as
a trusted domain.

To allow EDO to work properly, the following ports shall be open in your
network and client:

The first time you access to the system you will see the following screen,
whenever is detected that any of the components that allow EDO to work is
missing.

Once the you have completed the
installation of the plug-in, please click on
the Recheck System button (or install
another plug-in, if needed).
Once the plug-ins have been installed, the
you can enter EDO site by clicking on the
Enter Site button.
You can skip this screen manually pressing
CTRL-SHITF-X for troubleshooting purposes.
 Now your system is ready to run EDO.

these options are enabled:

3. Activate the Enable option. Enable Java
4. Now log into EDO and recheck Enable Java Script

Trusted Sites
1. Open Internet Explorer's Internet Options.
2. Select the Security tab.
3. Select the green checkmark for Trusted Sites.
4. Click Sites.
5. In the "Add this website to the zone" field, enter
http://global.engdis.com and click Add.

1. Clean cookies and temporary IE files
2. Click on Delete in the Browsing History section
 3. After some seconds, you will see the following message at the bottom of
the browser (IE9), click in the X to close the message.

2. From the upper address bar pull down the menu and choose All
Control Panel Items
3. Double click on the Java icon to open the Java Control Panel
4. Click on the Settings button
