Equipment being stolen In busy situations at the shopping centre, non of the equipment will
be unattended and the crew will stay together at all times to limit
anyone forcefully trying to steal the equipment.

Tripping over equipment or other objects The Market Square can be very busy and in a public place, things
while filming can be left lying around (like parts from a stall). To prevent this, I
will make sure my camera operator has a clear path during any
tracking shots and all other equipment is moved to a appropriate
place.

When climbing onto the punt, someone Although for my video, I want to get the best view from sitting in
could fall into the river. the best seat of the punt, I will make sure this is still done safely
and follow the rules on climbing the punt correctly.

Getting hands trapped between two punts As I will not be directing the punts, I will not be able to fully prevent
or crashing into another punt. this but while filming, I will ensure that we are fully on the punt and
are not filming over the edge. This will limit the risk of falling in if
the punt crashes, hands being injured and dropping any equipment
into the river.

Falling ill during or after production As most of my filming will be conducted outside, there will be low
temperatures during the two weeks of filming. I will ensure the
whole crew will be wearing appropriate outdoor clothing so no crew
members will fall ill in the middle of the production. This will be
especially for the punting tour as we will be in freezing cold
temperatures for over an hour.

! Risk Level*: After your controls have been applied what is Low
your assessment of the risk level of this activity?
