Proudly Presenting...

One of the skinniest little boys,

often teary with anger
or fighting 'bout toys
Wouldn't eat much
and talked in one-syllable words
banged his bones and his thickhead
he was one of the nerds.

But he grew up to be one of the best

the league of fine men he joined
you guessed:
my brother,
once “baby brother” so wee
now kind, honest, upright
and helpful as can be.
