Dear Teachers

As we approach the dates for our Workshop on Making Learning Interesting, I


hope you can do some preparations for the workshop:

The following are your pre-workshop assignments:

A. Read the following articles by going on-line:

NOTE As you read through you will notice that the learning strategies listed
in the 2 articles may be described differently but could mean the same.
Some strategies come in pairs too.

B. After you have read the two articles above for ideas,

a. Pick ONE subject at whichever year level you will be teaching in 2017, and
b. Pick ONE topic from the syllabus (sukatan pelajaran).

IMAGINE you are going to teach a lesson of your choice (see B a & B b above)
using some of the learning strategies you have read to make your lesson
interesting. Complete the following chart with the learning strategies you would
use during this lesson. Bring this along for the workshop.
