Wireless Elementary School (WES) established last 1969 as an

extension of Balagtas Elementary School. It is a public school

managed by the Department of Education under Davao Central
District, Davao City. It is located at Father Selga St., Davao City with
land area of 2,119 square meters donated by Bureau of Animal
Industry to usufruct for a period of 25 years renewable for the same
period. Its buildings are made of semi permanent materials.

Now, because of its growing population from 100 to about 1200

enrolees though considered small but with complete elementary
grade level since 1978. The school is situated at the heart of the
city, flood-free area where clients can access four (4) Barangay
Halls, hospitals, and churches of different denominations, malls,
other private institutions and even funeral parlors and cemeteries
just by walking.
Most of the families in the community are engaged in small scale
businesses, mostly are market vendors since Bankerohan Public
Market is just within the vicinity.
