Materials:
empty container
decorative tape/paper
printed game labels and word cards (Dolch words by target sounds /s, r ,l/, including blends)

Getting Ready:
Print and cut labels and game cards.
Decorate empty container.
Crumble up each word and put in your trash container

To Play: Give each student a recording sheet (there are t wo options) and place the trash container in the
middle. Students will take turns drawing a piece of trash and reading the word. If it is one of their
speech words, then they write it on their paper. Students can use their completed paper to take home for
practice!
